Ok, I was busy today buying everything 'Hairspray' related that possibly could. I bought the single disc edition at wal-Mart (because it came with a bonus disc of exclusive extras) and the special edition gift set (with the 2 disc edition, tote bag, stickers, and pink metal locker) at Best Buy, along with the new limited edition soundtrack. ;D

I know, but I wanted those exclusive extras. ;D I'm planning on giving the single disc DVD to a friend as a Christmas gift, so it kinda doubled as holiday shopping.

So, at the evil Wal-Mart thir morning to pick up a prescription, I also picked up a bunch of DVDs. I got Pirates of the Caribbean: At World'd End (2 disc edition), The Nanny Diaries, Thirteen Ghosts, Pay It Forward, and Some Kind Of Wonderful. Those last three were only 4.88 apiece ;D

^^^ I've been meaning to download that someday. Let me know if it's any good or not, k? Every single person I've talked to raves about that movie (300). I haven't come across one person who didn't like it. If you haven't checked it out yet... I would have to say- "go for it."

Well, it's YouTube's fault. I saw a clip of it and the gore looks amazing. I couldn't hear it though, someone took out the audio and put in some awful "heavy metal" song that made me want to puke.
But, the House of Horrors website also raves about it and I've learned to give in and just trust that website. They were right about so many movies so far, it's not funny.

I've been going to it for years.

I think I found them in 2000 when I was in high school and well, they used to have a site called Creepyclips dot com and that place had a crap load of trailers and well, based on the trailers, their "Vault," The Dying Room, The Bathroom, and The Parlor sections of the site, I've seen so many amazing horror films. They really are amazingly trustworthy. I have a huge list of movies I've seen just because they recommended them:
Phantasm, Carnival of Souls, An American Werewolf in London, Pumpkinhead, The Howling, all Lucio Fulci's movies, Deranged (1972), Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow, Dead Alive, Slugs, Warlock, Bad Taste, Let Sleeping Corpses Lie, Bay of Blood, Near Dark, Dario Argento's films, Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, Cemetery Man, the Demons movies, Dawn of the Dead, Tombs of the Blind Dead, Spider Baby.
Between House of Horrors, Cinemax, and TNT's Monstervision - they made me who I am today.

ordered another: My first of the Toxie's Triple Terror line. I was a little anxious to get it because I want the picture/sound quality to be as good as possible. But I can't find my VHS of Evil Clutch anywhere. Looked high and low. So, since it was less than $10, I ordered a copy. If the quality's good, I will definitely get another.
