Well, since I got it for essentially $3.50 (Canadian!), I guess I can live with whatever the consequences are. Worst comes to worst, I give to a friend that has no taste (we've all got one or two of those, right?).

Actually, I just have a thing about ghost-horror movies. Especially the new ones. And the PG-13 ones. Did you ever see Stir of Echoes? I sometimes think the thing that bothered me most about that movie... was that it wasn't a complete pile of crap. At least if it had been, I could bitch about it. Ghost horror movies all feel exactly the same and they're always boring for me. Besides, it'd be impossible for me to sell my copy after buying it. Just think if you were someone out there, you could probably get $5 for a brand new copy of (you name it) The Ring, The Haunting, Sixth Sense, The Others, etc. How much would I get for it used? Me + Ghost Horror Movies (especially ones made from 1999 to today) are like a Vampire + Garlic.

pg-13 ghost movies are the worst, i too have never been a fan of ghost movies although i remember talking about this with you already
it would be nice to see a new ghost movie that was actually suspenseful and well made

They'd have to TWIST the formula. That's what horror needs anymore. It needs to be twisted. Severly. Throw out the slaving to the cliches and all the standard routines that are done now.

Just bought "Cat People" and "An American Werewolf in London" in a two pack for $7. Like my previous two pack, I've never seen one of them, but would have gladly payed that price the other one alone.

I imagine Cat People's the one you've never seen. ENJOY. It's got enough style to choke on. The music score is amazing (but beware if this turns you off, it's Giorgio Moroder, the king of 80's music scores, the Flashdance and Never Ending Story guy). The special effects are almost all perfect, there's a little gore. A lot of nudity- but the girl is so skinny, she looks more like a young boy.

You haven't watched it yet? Unless you're bogged down with some damn important, big office-job type work - watch it asap.
Though, Malcolm McDowell is in it. I know everyone loves him in Clockwork Orange, but after that, people have never liked him as much in anything else he's been in.

While not big office-type work, I have been very busy of late with important matters. I will get to it soon though and get back to you...

Just picked up some Vincent Price classics in "The Oblong Box", "Scream and Scream Again", "The Fall of the House of Usher" and "Witchfinder General". Also, a few weeks ago, picked up some gore fun with "Tokyo Gore Police" and "Machinegirl".

Got a bunch more horror DVDs over the last year. I only have about 2 or 3 more until my collection is where I feel it's complete.
So, now I'm starting on my Disney collection. Got the "Platinum Edition"s of Bambi and Peter Pan and am waiting on Cinderella.
Just ordered Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs too.
