i agree with t. i wouldn't consider those to be the best either, but that isn't a knock against you laz. it is just the kind of list of best modern horror movies that you see everywhere. i personally like movies that are more obscure and polarizing.

^^ exactly what i was thinking, you just see all of those movies everywhere, some are good but most are extremely overated, i like more obscure and lower budget movies, i will tell you one thing tho, the blob remake is easily better then any of those movies you listed, i could also name many low budget movies i would watch anyday over any of those, but of course you will disagree and claim i dont know horror and you have superior horror knowledge

i agree with t. i wouldn't consider those to be the best either, but that isn't a knock against you laz. it is just the kind of list of best modern horror movies that you see everywhere. i personally like movies that are more obscure and polarizing. Define: polarizing. Because if I have your meaning correctly, you think my list should probably have movies on it that (I assume) most people would never consider to be the greatest horror film(s) ever made. (Modern in this case) i like more obscure and lower budget movies HA HA HA! How much do you think the budgets for Halloween, Evil Dead, The Howling, Re-Animator, Phantasm, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre were?? 5 million a piece? 10 million? Honestly, T - that was a good one. you just see all of those movies everywhere Well maybe there's a reason for that. What do you think it is? Seriously, go ahead and say anything. some are good but most are extremely overrated That's a generalization. If you actually want people to understand what you're saying- at least give a number. Quit being cryptic - say something. Go on record. Anyway, you're incorrect. Because you always have to go and add "extreme" to the mix. Which is bullshit. You're the one who keeps thinking that if a movie doesn't rock your world, it doesn't rock anyone's. What would you say if I said The Blob was boring and overrated? What would you think if I did? i will tell you one thing tho, the blob remake is easily better then any of those movies you listed Well you know something - most of the people who say the movies on my list are masterpieces have seen The Blob remake. Maybe some liked it, maybe some didn't. Why haven't they said it's a masterpiece just like you have? They've seen it. Why doesn't this movie make their masterpiece list? i could also name many low budget movies i would watch anyday over any of those That nobody's ever seen. It sounds like you have a problem with horror movie fans for not naming the films you're always talking about (in code) as masterpieces in the same list as the ones here. Is that ironic? You know, in the way you always try to say it's ironic that I see this current decade as the crap it is. of course you will disagree and claim i dont know horror and you have superior horror knowledge Sure. Why not.

in response to what you said about what i said: yeah, that is what i mean. also on a side note: how do you define modern? some of those movies go back to the early 70s. a lot of people think of modern movies starting in the 80s.

im not just gonna keep arguing the same shit with you, i like the blob better then any of those movies as well as many low budget horror movies, you cant force your movie taste on any1 although you like to think you can on everyone, not everyone is gonna agree with you, you know why, because you are right to yourself and no1 else, seriously you are how old and cant grasp what an opinion is?

in response to what you said about what i said: yeah, that is what i mean. also on a side note: how do you define modern? some of those movies go back to the early 70s. a lot of people think of modern movies starting in the 80s. There are 2 eras in horror. The classic era covers 50 years in horror, 1910's to the mid 1960's. The modern era needs to cover the same basic number. So in the mid 2010's, I'll make sure to update my definition of modern. It's only fair. Do you honestly want me to make 5 or 6 of these polls just because people think the '80s are so different from the '90s and so on? Not really. Because then it would be 50 years in competition with 12 years in competition with maybe 9 or 10 in competition with 7. No, they need to go together. im not just gonna keep arguing the same shit with you Do you see an argument up there? It's a discussion. I'm sorry it requires too much brain power for you. i like the blob better then any of those movies as well as many low budget horror movies, you cant force your movie taste on any1 although you like to think you can on everyone, not everyone is gonna agree with you, you know why, because you are right to yourself and no1 else, seriously you are how old and cant grasp what an opinion is? You are the biggest idiot in the world, T. If you would actually read my posts, you would know that what you said in that quotation has NOTHING to do with what I said above. But just keep doing what you always do, T. Ignore everything, make up your own explanations and excuses for all your idiotic behavior. Why does anyone bother with you, T? You don't pay attention.

You wish.
But then you're only doing this because you want a competition. Every time we get into a discussion, you always chicken out and label everything as bullshit. Because you don't want to understand anything, you just want to win.
Newsflash: you couldn't be a bigger loser.

T - that has nothing to do with the discussion we were having before you just started spitting out your same bullshit.
The discussion WAS about the fact that you think all horror movies are overrated except your precious The Blob remake and how most horror fans who've rated these great films have seen the movie, but why don't they rate it as a masterpiece too?
Nope - you ignored everything and went back to something WE WERE NOT TALKING ABOUT. You turned this into the same thing you always do - "Uh..uh...uh... You just think your opinions are always facts." Uh uh uh- THAT'S NOT WHAT WE WERE TALKING ABOUT. We were talking about the great modern horror films.
But you can't ever stay on track.

Okay, now we need to go back to something else you seem to have forgotten:
We're on a message board. If all anyone says is: "I liked, I didn't like it," than we're wasting time and internet posting space.
Opinions need to be made of more than 1 sentence. Because then there's no reason to be online. I could go walk up to a complete stranger and say- "I liked that horror movie May, it was great."
It's not my fault or anyone else's that you have nothing to say.

if i think a movie is boring i dont need to say anymore, if a movie bores me then i dont like it, its pretty simple

T, we're on a message board. MOST of us actually have things to say and we want to discuss things and we want to go into details. You're the only one who seems to think I'm the only one here with something to say. And if a movie bores you, AND you don't explain why - that doesn't mean it's boring. It means you're boring and flat and have no taste. That could be said about any movie you've ever seen. BUT if you explain why you thought it was boring... Now we're getting somewhere. But knowing you, you'll just change the subject or twist things around. Because you'd rather slam me and make petty, poorly thought-out judgments than talk about anything. When you created this board, T - what did you think was going to happen? That people would only go: "it's boring"
