Any movies you plan on watching this October, in honor of the Halloween holiday?
Are any movies yearly rituals for you?

definitely John Carpenter's Halloween. Sometimes I throw in a sequel or two, but I always watch the original on October 31st. Of course, I'll be wearing my Michael Myers mask.

I'm planning a serious marathon. The first since I've started collecting DVDs. I did one with my VHS's about 6 years ago.
This year, I'm gonna have to mix VHS with DVD. The worst thing is I'm gonna have to go back and forth and back and forth and back and forth between my DVD of Scream and VHS - thanks to goddamned Dimension Home Video! Only my VHS has the Director's Cut version of the gore and blood-shedding sequences. They never released an Unrated DVD.

I don't have a long enough attention span to watch more than two movies in a row.

Ha. I used to be able to watch a ton. Now, when I try to down three or more in a row, I get tired and stringy. But, take a short nap, and then you're ready for the next one.

I'm gonna go out and rob kids of their candy sacks this year instead of watching movies. ;D If I do decide to do something scary, I'll go read through The Patriot Act. Anyways, I usually watch whatever comes on tv for Halloween. If I try to choose it'll take me longer to pick one than to actually watch it.

What channels do you guys watch?
And do you watch basic cable or do you get Premium, Pay, or Satelite channels? Like Showtime, Horror Channel, Monsters HD, Turner Classic Movies?

I go for both. But the only way I'll watch horror on basic cable is if it's something good that I've seen. That way I know what gore I'm missing out on. The channels I usually find playing watchable horror are AMC, Sci Fi, TCM, IFC, Sundance, MOJO, and UHD. I've got all the HBO channels too and that's where I usually check out new mainstream horror if I haven't rented or downloaded the movie yet.

I usually go to Rocky Horror on Halloween ;D But before I go to that I will definitely be watching horror movies whilst I pass out candy to the little demon minions that reside in my building. Usually I watch whatever's on TV though (I flick back and forth between SciFi, AMC, and TCM because they usually show the best films, although SciFi is sometimes a crapshoot).

Halloween on Halloween is a yearly tradition.
I usually watch only Horror or Horror-related movies (Sci-Fi, Suspense, Thrillers) in October.

Okay, I failed in October, 2007. But this year, I'm seriously ready for a real Halloween-month horror marathon. I also have the schedule almost ready. In a few days, I'll post it.
Is anyone else planning on watching a bunch of horror movies for the season?

I will be handing out candy till 8 p.m and then sitting down for a marathon, probably consisting of Poultrygeist, Return to Sleepaway Camp, and Feast 2. I will buy these when they come out and save them for Halloween night.
I try to watch a Halloween(usually part 2), a Jason(either 3,4, or 7) and Night of The Demons every Halloween but not this one.
