haha some more really good ones dave..all so true...especially F*ck leaving, let's kill it! and Stand back! I'm an expert. i have seen them way way to many times..in just about every scifi original movie and any other low budget monster movie..but good work as usual...i sould have a few more later on
and to laz it would work for me if it was done in spoof sort of way..some of these scifi original movies and other direct to video movies and even some movies in theaters have so many but they try to be serious about the movie and its just dumb and boring..if your gonna make a cliche filled movie at least know your doing it and make it funny.

I suppose so Laz. One movie that comes to mind is the original 'Scream.' If it was done along the lines of the way they presented it in that movie it could be pretty cool. Of course there's also the 'Scary Movie' comedies. Didn't work well for me in any of those movies though.

a few more that just popped in my head....
I'm just to damn horny - This is when two teens feel the need to crank out a quick one or go into some long make-out session. Now usually there would be nothing wrong with that. But when there's a killer on the lose and you're friends are dieing around you all of your focus should be on not being the next to die.
The shoulder grab!!! - This is where we have two characters. Usually a male and a female. The female will already be scared sh*tless because there is some type of killer/monster on the lose and her friends/family have died right infront of her. Our genius male character figures the best way to get her attention is to silently sneak up behind her and grab her shoulder. How about you call her name out or even whisper it out. Or at the very least walk a little heavier so she can hear your damn footsteps. That is just one example of the shoulder grab. I'm sure many of you have seen it in other situations also.
more to come later...........

^^thank you sir...another just popped in my head..cant believe i only thought of this one now Ohhh the suspense.....or lack of it - Ok this one can happens in all types of horror be it a zombie/monster/killer movie you will see it alot. I will use a zombie as an example. It usually happens early in the movie well before we get to the action. We will hear some type of bump or knock or scratch. Then the suspense music kicks in and we watch as the camera follows our main character. As this is happening we are all going "ok movie we have seen this before. You're gonna get to where you heard the sound and it's gonna be a freakin dog,cat or one of your friends, not some zombie tearing apart some hapless teen like we all want it to be". And what is it when our character and camera reach there destination??? its a freaking dog,cat or one of there friends. stilllllllllll more to come.......

I'm just to d**n horny - This is when two teens feel the need to crank out a quick one or go into some long make-out session. An interesting version of this cliche appeared in one of the "Subhumanoid" Nuke 'Em High sequels, where two college kids are violently French-Kissing and refuse to stop even when the building is in full toxic meltdown. They even dubbed in a line over it with one of them saying something about not caring if they die as long as they're fooling around.

I think it... was..probably part 2, because in part 3 the school barely played a part in the movie at all. Part 3 I think was off at that factory. And the Toxic Squirrel was the focus at the school. He had some kind of rampage. So if it happened in 3, it would have been in that scene somewhere. Unless part 2 had the Toxic Squirrel in it, because I think Leonard Maltin mentioned it in his review.

I think now that i think about it some more it probably was in part 2. i haven't seen either movie in quite some time, but i definitely remember the Toxic Squirrel was in part 3.

The funny thing about those sequels is... everything happened in part 2. Which is actually one of the reasons I liked part 3 a little bit better. Because it was just a little bit less gross. Part 2 was absolutely disgusting. I had a real hard time re-watching it about 7 years ago.

yeah part 2 was definitely a Troma film at it's worst (others would say best).

Definitely a Jiggle & Vomit picture, to be somewhat classic in my stride, that I should call it any kid of 'traditional' term.
But I've always said, a Troma film at its' best... is one they pick up for distribution (The Stendhal Syndrome, Def by Temptation, Dead Dudes in the House, Monster in the Closet, Frostbiter: Wrath of the Wendigo).

One thing i will say for Troma....................they made the only movie scene that i refuse to ever watch again.................it was in one of the Toxic Avenger movies (i think?). The scene where a bunch of "stereotyped" teens are out ripping around in a car and decide to intentionally run over a kid on a bike. for fun. repeatedly................i never want to see that scene again.

I saw something like that...in a...promo for Troma or something. Was it during a Night scene? Or in the Day?
The Troma scene that broke the straw on my camel's back was the Seeing-Eye Dog killing scene in the first Toxic Avenger. That movie was really crappy.

I recall it being a night scene, as i think the teens had been out drinking, doing drugs, etc. The reasons it disgusted me so much were three-fold:
1. It wasn't by accident, they come upon the kid and the driver gets all excited about running him down and the other members in the car cheer him on to do it.
2. After they hit the kid they stop to see if he's dead or not. He's still twitching around, so they run him over 1 or maybe even 2 more times.
3. We get treated to a long closeup of the aftermath with the kids bloody, flattened body. Absolutely horrible.
I've only seen it once, and it's forever stuck with me..................I wish it wasn't.

That does sound really fucked up. And Lloyd Kaufman's thing is definitely long, bloodied aftermaths. Did the victim look like a real kid?

That does sound really fu cked up. And Lloyd Kaufman's thing is definitely long, bloodied aftermaths. Did the victim look like a real kid? It's been a couple years since i first saw it, but i do recall it being WAY too realistic looking. Was one of the few times when i wished the special effects crew didn't do such a good job. I also seem to remember a quick closeup of the vehicle's tire going over the child's head and hearing a sickening "pop" sound. Terribly tasteless and tacky.
