Good luck, it's out of print as hell. It's on Netflix though.
As for the cover, I think it's great. But it looks more like a book cover. So, yeah maybe people would think twice about wanting to watch it as a movie. But - it's Troma. If you've seen as many Troma movies as I have, you just don't question a movie based on the cover. Which I almost never do anyway. The trailer already tells you everything you need to know about the movie - at least the trailers coming out now.
Oh, and it's a VERY gory movie but most of the gore is cut out of the American version. However... the full, uncut gore scenes are on YouTube. And GOD are they gory!!!

it actually does kinda look like a book cover, looks like it should be a goosebumps book or something, and i dont judge a movie based on the cover, although most troma movies have dumb cheap looking covers

They're animated / cartoon-drawing covers are the best. Like- Toxic Avenger. And my personal favorite, Stuff Stephanie in the Incinerator:

I totally agree. A lot of the best movie posters/covers are the animated ones.........especially when talking about the horror genre. That was one of the things I loved about horror back in the 80's-------------a lot of the covers had kick-ass illustrated covers. Didn't we do a topic way back when about "favorite movie covers" or something like that??? If not, sounds like a good topic to make, hehe ;D

You hit the nail on the head with the Goosebumps comparison. And except for the girl wearing the little red aprin-dress, it could fit into 1990's stereotypes rather well. "Your Grandparents Are from Another Planet" or... "Cheek-Pinching Aunts from Beyond the Grave." Cheese, cheese, cheese. For kids. If the cover were actually taken from the movie, it would be much more gritty and creepy looking. If anyone here has Netflix - you truly MUST watch Rabid Grannies. It's on their Instant View service and has been there for like 5 months now. I totally agree. I haven't seen it yet. And since it's out of print, I paid $20 for it. So I've got my fingers crossed, I hope it's good. But Troma rarely lets me down.

I'm thinking of selling it back into eBay. Somebody else is clearly deserving of this... treasure. I...wouldn't want to deprive them of it. That would be rude. I bought a few more: and: But, the person I got if off eBay from only sold me Stuff Stephanie in the Incinerator. The whole box was over $20 and I just wanted Stephanie anyway.

Just bought John Carpenter's "The Thing" special edition. It came in a two pack with "White Noise" (which I've never seen) for $7!
