It's an actual bible, but it's not for "satan worshippers". It's really philisophical...you'd have to read it to understand.

I'm not a big fiction/novel fan. Most books I read are of a historical or political nature. I won't bore you guys by going into the details.

I'm a big fan of old scary stories, colonial American mythology (that relates to ghost and horror stories), and fairy tales. But currently, I don't read them anymore. I mostly read internet news and the like. As a kid, I loved this story: and But at a certain age, I just stopped reading fiction altogether. In high school.

I had it in a book that I can't remember what it's called, some collection of stories from Joanna Cole and some other people. It had stories, jokes, rhymes... etc.

Yeah, I think I had the same book. I seem to recall one of the other stories being about pirates or something like that. I remember really liking the style of the illustrations in all the stories too.

I stick mostly with Horror Fiction but I have my moments of reading stuff from Cormac McCarthy (The Road, Blood Meridian, and No Country For Old Men are all great).
Love Jack Ketchum, especially Off Spring and Off Season.
Richard Laymon is fucking awesome, I have yet to read a book by him I hated.
And I was thrilled to see The Freakshow mentioned, I would love to see a Hard R movie from that book.

Well I'm no Satanist but I'll take a stab. In LaVeyan Satanism, Satan is viewed more as a concept (like in Judaism and Islam) than an actual entity (like in Christianity). Satan represents willfully rising above and beyond herd mentality. It celebrates individuality. God is viewed as a man made concept, that is driven by the desire to be part of a group. The individual needs no gods as they serve that function for themselves.

and thanks for the explanation lowkey..that doesnt really seem like it should be classified as satanism tho..when i thin satanism i think of all the goth kids with all there 666 shit..but i see them as a bunch of losers just looking for attention and not actual satanists

You see, tsmooth, idiotic "goth" kids have given real Satanism a bad name. It's really all about self-preservation and finding inner happiness through whatever means necessary, without the restraints of other religions. It's called Satanism because the real Satan isn't a fallen angel or a pitchfork-wielding demon, but the balance of nature. The true representation of earthly indulgence!
