Here in good old Manitoba, our police have it pretty bad. They get tazors, can't use them because of special interest groups. They shoot someone, there are weeks and weeks of media hostility and paperwork.Point being, what are they supposed to do? Deter crime with foul language?! How is it where you guys are?

well most cops abuse there powers..so it is understandable that if they shoot some1 or hit some1 it is looked at very closely

Our cops here are mostly very good people. Except that they give special treatment to people they know (by that I mean, they'll let people they know off with a warning if they're doing something wrong). And there are several officers who bust kids or try to get kids in bigger trouble to get commended by higher up officers.
At least- I have that on someone else's authority. So, take their word for it, not mine. I don't have problems with the police. But I've met some of them, and some of them are real jerks.

All the cops I've dealt with were dinks but they have a tough job so it's understandable.

I'm sure that job gets to a person after awhile. But if they want us to understand or be empathetic...
