As I'm sure you've all noticed I've got a soft spot for the shapeshifters. So I made this battle to find out which wolf is the king. Matchups will be chosen by me based on a factor that makes the opponents similar. Please make your selections based on which MONSTER you like better, not which movie you like more. If you haven't seen any of the movies than make your selection based on the pictures and monster stats that I've provided. Thanks!
There will be 12 opening matchups. Winners will move on when they receive 3 votes(including mine), and I will break any ties. The final 3 winners will face off in a round where the highest vote getter will be named champion.
This matchup is the werewolf genre's version of the "whodunnit?" movie. A good majority of the movie is spent by the viewer trying to find out which character is sprouting fangs & hair and taking to the streets to feast upon the innocent. Here's the stats:
Silver Bullet
--bipedal version
--based from Stephen Kings illustrated novella by the same name (looks much better in the book IMO)
--changes every night, gets stronger & wolfier as the moon gets fuller
--can only be killed by silver
--is actually the town priest
--has only one eye
--kills for pleasure rather than to feed
--retains most of human psyche when in wolf form
--unique killing styles (for a werewolf): beheads town drunk, shreds a pregnant girl, murders kite flying child, bludgeons a bar owner & a sheriff with a bat
--only average transformation scene
--pretty strong, not very athletic;
--can be escaped, relies more on element of surprise
The Beast Must Die
--quadripedal version
--changes with full moon
--killed only by silver
--portrayed by a real wolf with a lil' bit of fake fur & makeup
--no transformation scene
--really athletic, not real strong or tough, somewhat lethal
--very sneaky and smart
--best kill: crashes through skylight and tears out a guy's eyes
--all the kills take place offscreen, we only get to see the aftermath
--not a whole lot of screen time
Alright kiddies, have yourself a cheesy lil' "werewolf break" (inside joke for anyone that's seen The Beast Must Die), and vote!
REMEMBER, THIS IS A COMPETITION BASED ON JUST THE MONSTERS!!!
