A sociological experiment was conducted in Illinois called the "Wallet Test". You can read about it at" www.wallettest.com/Basically the researchers deliberately "lost" 100 identical wallets (containing money and ID) in public places to test people's honesty. The test results were broken down by age, gender and race ----> www.wallettest.com/Lost_Wallet_Test/Results_Page.htmlSo what do you guys think? Any surprises?

I'm a little surprised at the number of honest people. At least it shows that humanity isn;t doomed after all. ;D

I was not surprised - people are usually nice.

I'd like to know what city and state they conducted this experiment in. In a small town you'd probably get quite a few people to do the right thing. In a larger metropolitan area like where I live I'm pretty sure almost everyone would have kept it. Including me. ;D
