I was obsessed with Super Mario World (?) on SNES. Was that the one? With the big map and you start on Yoshi's Island and you have to go through the level / areas, finding Keys and when you put them in the keyholes, you Access additional areas of land on the map which lead to other castles and bosses... That game was great!! But my favourite SNES game is probably Super Mario RPG. I can't even explain how great that game is.

That game was great!! But my favourite SNES game is probably Super Mario RPG. I can't even explain how great that game is. Well yeah - different games for different tastes. I thought it was awesome to have to complete the map and it was great doing that. But my younger brother and all his friends were big-into the RPG stuff and they knew more about that than I did. In fact, I was always more into the Level-playing games. If that is the best way to describe it, and if that's the opposite of RPG...

Didn't Zombies Ate My Neighbors have a lawnmower in it? Hmmm, possibly one of the people you had to save was on a riding lawn mower.. I'm not sure though. It plays kind of like Smash TV(another GREAT game)

My favorite SNES game was Actraiser. Pretty cool concept combining RTS, action and RPG elements. Part 2 looked nicer, but did away with the RTS and RPG aspect.
