Why is it that in these post-Apocolyptic movies, people look like punks (mohawks, eyeliner, leather outfits)?
As for the movie itself, I don't think I'll see it anytime soon.

It's because even the end of the world, won't stop the poseurs, and the market niche they fill. Why for a mere 100 12 gauge shells, or a gallon of diesel, you too could take on zombies, alien overlords, mutants, and even a goddamn asteroid the size of Texas, with confidence and style.

As far as theater-movies go, it looks decent.

It's going to be just like every other sci-fi action-thriller coming out right now. Truly no difference between this and those Resident Evil movies and V for Vendetta and Land of the Dead... God, when the fuck are these "end of the world" / post apocalyptic bio-chemical tanks & large-scale war flicks going to stop? They're all shit.

Land of the Dead blew chunks. It's only saving grace is that there are no olympic-athlete zombies present.

all of those movies you listed there were shit... but i dont think this will be or looks like any of them.. plus its directed by the guy who did dog soldiers and the decent which were both great movies... so i have my hopes set high

I haven't seen The Descent yet. But they always give away the threat in trailers and such. They look like Grease-People. Mud-People. Ever see BONES? Remember the scene where the sticky wrapped-up people came out of the walls? That was dumb. And that is the key reason I don't feel like watching The Descent.

the thing i liked most about the descent was it didnt fall into the whole lets kill the monsters for the hell of it cliche.. most movies the main characters have so many chances to just leave.. in the descent the girls were actually trapped in the cave and HAD to fight to survive.. every horror fan should atleast check it out

I liked the Irish character with the Pixie-hairdo.Wow! In that situation, some lesbian stuff would be appreciated but...I can't control all these movies.
