I recently watched "Mr. Woodcock", which disappointed me with its lack of humor.
I also have to commend "Click" with Adam Sandler for being totally devoid of any and all funniness.

i found some parts of click to be pretty funny
basically any type of comedy that is not of the sppof or slapstick genre i do not find funny
MST3K type comedy is funny
adam sandler type comedy is funny
airplane/naked gun type comedy is funny
if its not that type of comedy i usually dont find a movie very funny

I also have to commend "Click" with Adam Sandler for being totally devoid of any and all funniness. I agree. But even worse than that... Click lacks anything good...at all. For me, any comedy with Will Ferrell in it is a steaming pile of donkey shit. Including Zoolander, which I tried to like but was entirely unfunny, and Drowning Mona, which I ended up liking because Neve Campbell was surprisingly entertaining playing something a little less Snow-White-pure, yet remains largely unfunny. Will Ferrell is a fucking curse on comedy.

I forgot to mention "Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd". It's a complete disgrace to the original, which I love.
"Son of the Mask" was so horrible, brain matter actually started to leak out of my left nostril. No lie.

The only good thing about Dumb and Dumberer is the guy who played Lloyd. He was a perfect imitation of Jim Carrey. However, Harry's character in this movie is an utter disgrace to Jeff Daniels. Was he even trying?

You forgot about Mimi Rogers!
I thought that 40 Year old Virgin was all good except for Steve Carell.I loathe that turd. Guess it sort of counts.

Steve Carell does a lot that isn't funny. BUT the point about him and his movies, the thing we need to remember, chiefly... his movies are actually well-made. Do not make the grave mistake of lumping him in with the Sandler's, Ferrell's, and Schneider's of comedy. He has not yet become a comedy "pop star" which is when they get out of control and start doing utter shit just to have a movie that gets really stupid people to pay ticket prices. 40 Year Old Virgin, Little Miss Sunshine, and Dan in Real Life are a damn sight from another world when compared to the total shit from the lesser guys getting movie deals. Dane Cook hasn't been in a good movie, Carrell has. Not that I'm counting the Almighty movies. Those are freaks of nature - a huge "why the fuck?" on the studios' heads.

^^ adam sandler has been in good movies Yes. The Wedding Singer was very good. The Waterboy was passable. And a lot of people say 50 First Dates is okay. I enjoyed Mr. Deeds, though a lot of people hated it. And, Punch Drunk Love was well-liked among critics. That represents maybe 15% of his career. That's 85% of Questionable Films. A lot. i have actually never seen a bad adam sandler movie.. Then you haven't seen many.

Have you seen Going Overboard? That was Adam Sandler's first movie, and it's complete, and total crap. I can't think of another comedy that I've seen, that is worse. Not many people have heard of it though. I'm pretty sure he doesn't put it on his resume these days.
Billy Bob Thornton is kinda batshit, so he might still acknowledge being part of it. Actually Thornton had the only line in the movie that was actually kind of amusing, so I guess that's something to be proud of.

God, I'm still nauseous just thinking about it.

Most of Sandler's movies are just plain lousy, unfunny, and stupid. From his early work to Bulletproof, Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, Big Daddy was progressive for gay people but still not funny at all, Eight Crazy Nights is pure shit, Click is almost as bad as 8CN, Chuck and Larry could have been more offensive but it still wasn't funny at all, The Longest Yard sucks, Spanglish was boring, Anger Management is one of the worst movies I've seen this decade... And then there were all the movies he played smaller parts in. The only one of those movies I would say didn't totally suck was Airheads. And that's merely because it was more of Wayne's World type music humor for people who wanted another Wayne's World the second they exited the theater after seeing it. Sounds like you had no idea how many bad movies he made, T. i have seen all of adam sandler's movies and have liked them all Your highly flawed taste is hardly worth judging the quality of movies by. will farell is good in small amounts.some people are just better sketch-comics. No amount is smaller than zip, zero, and zilch. Which is exactly the amount of Will Ferrell that every comedy should be blessed with.
