I was thinking about remakes at work today and how they tend to remake stuff that I think they have no business doing. Then, it came to me....Weird Science! I don't know why but I think they could do a great job with this today. Any cast ideas?(especially Chet and Lisa)

It's a fun movie if you like John Hughs movies. Kelly LeBrock was pretty hot too, but she loses points for marrying Steven Seagal.

i actually never saw weird science I've seen most of it. As comedies go... it's not very funny.

It's a different type of humour.Beats the shit out of Pretty in Pink or Sixteen Candles or...Breakfast Club!(there I said it!)

Breakfast Club wasn't really a comedy. Though, as much as I didn't like it when I first saw it, Sixteen Candles is a much better movie than WS. Not "funny" per se. But better nonetheless.

I though Break Club was a comedy with a little drama thrown in. Nobody beats the brother,Chet, from Weird Science as far as being hilarious. I hit a nerve when I mentioned "Pretty in Pink" didn't I

I haven't seen Pretty in Pink yet. Nor - Some Kind of Wonderful (I think that was a John Hughes movie, too- right?). And I've seen maybe 75% of Ferris Bueller.
