Someone sent me an E-Mail today, and apparently, BRAD RENFRO has died of an overdose. He was 25 years old.

i had never even heard of brad renfro..he didnt even look familiar to me..i just checked is page tho and so he was the main guy in bully..that was a pretty good movie I think he first rose to national attention in The Client, with Susan Sarandon and Tommy Lee Jones. It was a pretty popular and successful conspiracy thriller and he was very much noticed for it. He then was in Disney's Huck and Finn with Jonathan Taylor Thomas (from Home Improvement- a big Disney star at the time), Sleepers with Minnie Driver, Dustin Hoffman, Kevin Bacon, Robert De Niro, Brad Pitt, and Billy Crudup, then years later in Ghost World with Thora Birch, Steve Buscemi, and Scarlett Johansson, and The Jacket with Keira Knightley and Adrien Brody. Apart from that, his career kind of floundered around in the independent world. He was busted for drugs at least 3 times- in 1998, 2000, and 2001. Maybe once more in 2005, not sure. Didn't know who Maila Nurmi was before this. Now that I look her up... wow. She was somebody alright.

I thought Sleepers was very boring. I think they focused too much on the kids' hijinks and antics before they commited that (accidental?) crime.

That's two, in what, like two weeks?! Why don't these people just stick to weed and booze like normal people? Or what about these celebrities that get pissed/wrecked as fuck and then go driving. I think that paying somebody to drive you around makes a little more sense.

I always felt there was something about him that couldn't be trusted. In fact, I commented on this about 2 years ago on another message board.

If only it was Jake... j/k I'm not sure what that means, but I think if you compare the two actors, Jake seems to have much more going for him, and lived a healthier life. I heard last night they're thinking he might have been killed by (I don't know who knows this or how many people have heard) an addiction to sleeping pills. I heard a whole thing last night that he was having trouble sleeping, was under a lot of stress, and felt overwhelmed... Now, of course, I got a bit of this from Glenn Beck. So, some of that very well might have been spun into: This Is the Effect Prescription Sleep Aids are Having on America. They might not have just been talking about Heath. They might have been told that he overdosed on sleeping pills and decided that he did that because he was a victim of the Over-Medicated America thing a lot of popular talk radio people feel is a big problem right now. I'll take that (any day), over: "Brokeback Mountain killed him," or, "Evil, Liberal-Hollywood killed him."
