Horror all the way. True horror, real horror, honest horror, ambitious but well-made horror. Acting IS important, style is important too. Stories and characters are VERY important. And balance in each movie is important too.
When it comes to other genres... I barely know what the hell I'm talking about.

Horror, followed by musicals and then comedies

After horror, I like comedies a lot. Mostly character-oriented. Which is why I enjoy romantic comedies a lot. Or- slapstick. As long as it's classy.
And of course, classic Disney films. Which could fall under either Family or Fantasy. And/or often Comedy.

Porno...
Seriously though I think I like horror, and comedy equally. The one thing that puts horror ahead is that a bad horror movie can still be fun, but a bad comedy is usually just lame.

Porno is definitely on it's own level from other forms of filmmaking. When you're looking for it, it feels like you need it more than any other.

Favorite is obviously Horror, I'll take the bad and the good moreso than with any other genre.
Other genres I dig: Westerns, Action, Comedy, and the rest.

Yep. You're talking about the one with Kevin Costner and Robert Duvall right? If it's that movie, then I liked it. Costner did a nice job directing it too.

^^^ What type of Westerns? Modern or the old spaghetti style (e.g. Sergio Leone)? I love both, I've seen more of the old classic type of Western though, not as many Spaghetti Westerns but the ones I have seen (Sergio Leone movies, a couple others) I've enjoyed quite a bit. And yeah, Open Range is fantastic.

Cool. I love the old spaghetti westerns as well. Sergio Leone definitely did them the best too.
