I saw the TV spot... and I wasn't impressed. I actually think Jodie Foster's "Brave" movie, The Brave One(?), looks much better.

I think both of those movies look pretty good. Not good enough for a visit to the local theater though. I'll wait for the dvd releases.

Are you sure? Because Death Sentence doesn't look fair. They, it looks like, kill his whole family, he does something, but then the suspense in the movie is - they're coming after him... Um, does anyone else think it should just be him killing them, not them hunting him. Who wants to see a movie like that, where the villains have the upper hand too much?

Eventually............................Besides, i think it adds a sense of realism to have the gang members have the upper hand over the grieving father when it comes to street violence/justice. I would imagine that most average parents in real life are not of the "Dirty Harry" persuasion. I'm sure they all would feel like getting some revenge, but that doesn't mean they all of a sudden become Rambo in a minivan.

But we live in a goddamned world where EVERYTHING is injustice. Do I want to go to a movie to see the same kind of shit that happens right on the streets? No, I can see that crap for free!

I don't really watch late night movies anymore. That phase outgrows a person.

Well, when someone does that sort of thing to you - tell me how much you want to see a movie about it.
