Don't know if anyone else noticed, but while i was watching the preseason matchups this weekend I noticed that every QB on every team was sporting a large green sticker on the back of their helmets. It was only quarterbacks who had them on and I'm just wondering if anybody knows what the significance of the marking was supposed to be.

im not 100% sure...but i thinks it to show you have a communication thing in ur helmet..you know how the qb's get plays from the coordinator..you can only have 1 player with a communication helmet on the field at the same time..last year seneca wallace who you know is a backup QB would play receiver at times..so they had to guys with the helmet..i mean its really stupid but i guess so guys dont communicate back and forth..i doubt they would do it anyway..but i was wondering the same thing and thats what i got from giants.com message board..it makes sense and i havent seen any1 disagree with it and say they mean anything else soooooo im pretty sure thats what they are.

Ahh yes i think you're right. I remember during the offseason the NFL making a rule about only having one in-helmet communication device on the field per team. That must be why only QB's were wearing the stickers. Good thinking T!
