Showing tonite @ 11:30pm central time over on AMC, and again @ 12:15am central time thursday on the same channel. My least favorite of the Evil Dead series, but still worth a watch.

It's one of my favorite movies ever! Bruce Campbell has the best one-liners in this one, and the scene with with the "mini-Ash" creatures was one of the most memorable I have ever seen.

But what version will it be? Will it be the shorter version, or the longer "Director's Cut" version with the extended scenes? And what ending will it have- "S-Mart" or "Apocalypse"?

Good, I like that ending better. But I thought the deleted scenes (pre-ending) I saw really added to the movie.

Yeah, that's my favorite of the 2 endings as well.

I've yet to watch that on my new stereo tv (I've only ever had a Mono TV before), but I'm sure the action sequences are pretty amazing in 5.1. But the thing I like better is when an action scene takes place somewhere you wouldn't exactly expect. With a medival-times setting, you know you're going to see sword-fighting, horsehooves rushing and stomping, drawbridges lowering. All those sound effects are a given. But setting an action/fight scene in a supermarket / department store is much cooler. So many more props! All that white.

Good point about the dept/supermarket setting Laz. I don't understand why nobody in horror has really taken a legitimate stab (no pun intended) at using a "Walmart" setting for the mainstage in one of their movies. Could have a lot of great potential. Besides, other movie genres seem to have figured it out.....................I mean after seeing 'One Hour Photo', I can deff see how somebody working in a place like that could really lose it!

I still like the idea I had in my dream. But it's sort of a long-gone-by time in horror. It would call on Ghostbusters/Ghostbusters 2-like effects when everything's all CGI now and wouldn't look realistic. Inanimate objects clearly had twisted faces in that dream. I just can't remember if there was any blood or gore in the dream.
