Well, I Won't Be Eating Bananas For A While

I just picked up a banana to put in my cereal, and there was a friggin' EGG SAC on the skin. Not only that, but some of the eggs spilled out and I have no idea where they might have fallen. Eggs of what kind of insect, I have no idea. Soooo, yeah. No more bananas for a long while.

Actually I just bought these bananas so I can't figure out how in the hell I managed not to notice the eggs until now. They MUST have been on there when I bought them yesterday.

I think I'll stick with strawberries from now on. I've yet to encounter baby bugs in a strawberry. ;D

I would at least try it. If other people it eat, it's obviously not going to hurt you.

In fact, I would love a job where I could travel the world sampling strange foods (like in some of those tv shows).

It can hurt you though. The maggots bore through your colon, where they will develop into adults, and cause lesions. Signs that they have infected you are nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and bloody diarrhea. Think of it this way. The one place in the world where people actually want to eat the stuff, has outlawed it because of how unsafe it is.

Here's one thing I would hate to try.

They drown a live baby mouse in a bottle of wine. It's supposed to give the wine a certain flavor. I'm not sure what this is called or where it's done, but it sickens me (and that takes a lot).
