I've noticed a few female celebs that have lost weight and look awful compared to what they were.
-Reese Witherspoon -Christina Ricci -"Ginger-Spice" Geri Halliwell I've seen way more but am at a loss. Help me out people!
(not to say these were all heffers but the weight loss is quite noticeable)

I respect women who choose to stay heavy. Those inept, airbrushed creatures of vanity make all other women feel bad about themselves. In fact, some women look better with more weight, like Star Jones did.

To them, it really doesn't matter what we think about them. Our opinions aren't the ones they have to answer to. So, that's why they don't. They don't think about their health first. Ever.
It's the same regardless of what behavior we're talking about. Eating, drinking, gambling, drugs, sex, stealing.

But it's as if they feel they need to be skinnier for their work. Oprah looks fucked up too.I agree T, bring on more meat(just not more meat than i've got)! Once they get those peach-pit, sunken-in eyes, time to go to BK.

But it's as if they feel they need to be skinnier for their work. Oprah looks fucked up too. The people they are around are telling them The Industry needs them to be thinner. You may think it's crazy what they're doing. But actually it's not. Because again, they do not surround themselves with us. They're so far away from anyone who will ever tell them they're doing damage to themselves. They have to do this to themselves because of the people telling them they're too fat. What I'm about to say is ridiculous but still very potent and true: this is why so many people were applauding Tyra Banks for her whole new obsession with her weight. Screaming "I'm Not Fat!" in quotes on magazine covers and doing all those specials on her Talk Show about "loving your body." It may not change the industry, but it will certainly give people who might enter that industry something to think about before they get there.

I love that too. In both women and men. At least if you're a little on the heavy side, you can always get thinner. You won't die from being fat (the Heart is the thing you have to watch - caffeine and cholesterol will kill that). But when you're skinny, you have to work very hard to gain weight and have it go in the right places. We should encourage ample-sized people to be proud of themselves.

People should not be ashamed for having a few extra pounds.
