I didn't much care for 90's music. Marilyn Manson got his start then, but that's really all that matters to me.

Hollywood tried too hard to make the 90s into the 60s part II. Beneath it all though it was just more 80s "Me, me, me" bullshit.

Are you talking about the return of hippie culture? All the tye-dye, bellbottoms, and stuff like that?

I would say that the 90's were good if you were into rap or alternative.

I have to say, I wasn't really into the music of the 90s, because like malbowski said, it was pretty much rap and alternative, which was never my thing. However, when I was around 13 and 14 the whole bubblegum resurgance thing started to kick in (The Spice Girls and Britney Spears and all the rest of them). I was a girl who liked her bubblegum pop, that was for sure. ;D Although looking back on it now it's kind of embarrassing that I liked any of those artists.

The Spice Girls were great back then. Nothing to be ashamed of.

I never really got into music trends. I liked what I liked, no matter what was "in".

Well... I'd say "same here," but who's going to pretend that trends had no effect on them? That's how you notice who is out there. I liked who I liked as well. But, had no problem telling every/anyone around what I thought of the people I didn't like.

Your point is true for almost everyone.
