And let's pray to a God that probably doesn't exist that a Republican doesn't win this year's election. America can NOT take 4 more years of "this" kind of leadership. One more Republican will destroy us for sure.

I don't find any of the Democrats particularly appealing either. Like usual we are being given the choice of mediocre, or batshit insane.
I kinda hope Huckabee gets the Republican nomination, because it will be hilarious to see him trying to pander to the more moderate voters, who make up the vast majority of voters. Promising to set us back to the dark ages works well when you're trying to get the most dedicated (i.e. fanatical) republicans to nominate you; it doesn't fly when you start trying to convince the upper-middle class to support you.
It'll teach the Republicans a good lesson though: when you spend years, and years trying to convince the nation you are the party of uptight, trailer trash, fundamentalist morons, don't be surprised that they start to take it seriously, and nominate a candidate who really is from that sort of background.

I would give my left nut to see a blue-collar person in power one day. Someone who "works" for a living and comes from a modest background. I want someone tough in charge and I believe that growing up and having to work for things instead of being given them, makes you strong.
