I picked it up a few weeks ago. Took a gamble and wasn't disappointed. Thomas Jane kicks up his acting abilites for this one and has a terrific supporting cast as well. No complaints with the ending or pacing either.Reminds me a bit of Dreamcatcher and Silent Hill combined for visuals and overall mood. 7 1/2 out of 10.

great movie with an amazing ending.. im tired of all these pg-13 theater movies with there happy endings.. i didnt see the ending coming but it really worked for me
i also thought of dreamcatcher and silent hill when watching it.. but it was much better then those 2

That was my concern as well, Laz. That's why I mentioned Dreamcatcher. The little creatures could have easily been "puppets" and a little less on the CGI wounds as well. The whole religious-zealot subplot was awesome and a bit creepy. My favorite part is when they go to the drugstore. The score and entire scene mechanics work perfectly and made it a memorable experience. It blew the shit out of those two, T!

i also loved the whole drugstore scene too.. felt like a resident evil or silenthill movie during that scene!!
and laz i hate cgi as much as you..maybe even more..while ill admit the cgi could have been better and at most time could have been eliminated altogether it shouldnt stop you from seeing the movie..
i think every horror fan should atleast check it out
