I don't have a favorite episode. I saw the ones everyone else raved about and they were terrible. Family was a little better than The Screwfly Solution, but the thing that made it interesting is the same thing that damages it beyond repair. The conversations went on too long and didn't have a point. Plus, the twist didn't lead to anything, and... CGI? I can see it. I know it's computerized.
I haven't seen Right to Die, The V Word, or The Washingtonians yet. And they're the only ones I am willing to give a chance. As for Dream Cruise, I have kind of lost interest in Asian horror since seeing Imprint and the pretty cruddy 2002 film, The Eye.

I don't know where Screwfly comes from but i just finished a Jack Ketchum book("Ladies Night") which is pretty similar with just the sexes reversed. I thought that Right To Die was decent as well. What CGI are you talking about for Family?(the acid baths?)

What CGI are you talking about for Family? (the acid baths?) Yes. It's ridiculous and obvious.

Exactly.
But I thought the movie/episode was boring. I've seen better child-predator horror movies (The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane, A Nightmare on Elm Street), peeping tom / voyeurism horror films / thrillers (Psycho, Sliver, Psycho II, Psycho III, Psycho IV: The Beginning, Private Parts ((1972)), Deranged), and twist movies (Wild Things). This thing had almost nothing to offer, period. The only thing I liked was the hallucinations Harold had of Celia talking sexually to him. That was the only interesting thing that I can't say I've seen that much of.

Were those really hallucinations though? I wonder about that. Seems a little far-fetched but since the **********SPOILER********** husband was in on it... I found the music in Family to be VERY creepy as well.

I've listened to the Audio Commentary with the writer, and I believe he said they were hallucinations. Plus remember that Celia, though she and David had their plan to "get" him (can't remember his characters' name for whatever reason), she didn't know he killed other people and used their skeletons for "family members." It was a hallucination also, because look how we seem him hallucinating all the "living" corpses talking to him.

Dream Cruise was a big letdown for me.I am a fan of the main Japanese actor and thought it would have some amusing jump-scares. Nothing.Nothing good to say so...

No.Without commercials, it was give or take 60 mins. An extra 2 hours couldn't help this crud.
