After that link to Chiller TV in the Horror Talk section, I got curious about any all horror/all monster channels for other cable companies (including my own iO Digital Cable) since I CAN'T GET CHILLER TV >.< Stupid DirecTV and their satellite monopoly of terror >.<
Here's the lowdown, I only found one channel like that for exclusive horror stuff from iO being Monsters HD, but it's HD and I think you need an HD Television in order to watch it, which sucks because I don't have one >.< It's free but I'd have to switch my current cable box for an HD Cable Box (at least it's free). So here's the stats:
Chiller TV->DirecTV only (Satellite Company) Channel 257->Comes only in Standard Definition (though HD is a possibility)->Comes only with the Choice Xtra Package->Originated Mar.2007 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiller_(TV_channel)
Monsters HD->iO Digital Cable (Cable Company) -> Channel 777 (Shouldn't it be 666?)->Comes only in HD(If only it had SD >.<)->Comes with regular package->Originated June 26,2007
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monsters_HD
(It also comes with Dish Network though I am unsure of what channel and as you can assume Dish Network->Satellite) Nvm it's 9481 for the channel ^
I will point out that Monsters HD is commercial-FREE Which gives it a huge edge IMO
I wish I could get both, but that'd be either impossible or really costly
So those of you who have either... explain how your channel is and let's vote to see which one is better
Chances are I'm not going to switch to satellite so I hope Monsters HD is going to live up to my expectations, the site looks really good actually. www.monstershd.com/index.php
I'm sure Monsters HD probably has more movies available to see than Chiller TV which is going to make me want to see the series Chiller offers but I think Monsters is an all movies channel. So let's decide.
Oh and for those of you who have no idea what some of this stuff means:
HD = High Definition
iO = Interactive Optimum (Cable Service offered only in New York,New Jersey,Connecticut and Pennsylvania in America) They're the cable portion of the Optimum Online/Optimum Voice team which is descended from original CableVision

Though, I'd have DirecTV if I lived outside of those states probably.
