A guy dies and goes to heaven. It's a slow day for St. Peter, so, upon passing the entrance test, St. Peter says "I'm not very busy today, why don't you let me show you around?"
The guy thinks this is a great idea and graciously accepts the offer. St. Peter shows him all the sights, the golf course, the reading room and library, the observation room, the cafeteria and finally, they come to a HUGE room full of clocks.
The guy asks, "What's up with these clocks?"
St. Peter explains, "Everyone on earth has a clock that shows how much time he has left on earth. When a clock runs out of time, the person dies and comes to the Gates to be judged."
The guy thinks this makes sense but notices that some of the clocks are going faster than others. He asks why is that?
St. Peter explains, "Every time a living person tells a lie, it speeds his clock."
This also makes sense, so the guy takes one last look around the room before leaving and notices one clock in the center of the ceiling. On this clock, both hands are spinning at an unbelievable rate. So he asks, "What's the story with that clock?"
"Oh, that," St. Peter replies, "That's OJ Simpson's clock. We decided to use it as a fan."

And I'm sure the guy has lied before in his life - so... the joke makes no sense. I heard the minute and hour hands actually spun right off! Who'd you hear that from? St. Peter? Are you saying you're like George W. Bush now, and that people from The Other Side speak to you and tell you things?

Oh yeah? But if you can't prove what those are - than you don't have a leg to stand on. why are you talking about? because he lied so much that they turned his clock into a fan..he lied for how many months straight about killing his wife?? thats gonna get your clock hands spinning pretty fast If they turned his clock into a fan - it doesn't work as a clock at all. It has to be a Clock and a Fan at the same time.

Good - never too late to right a wrong.
Besides, you're the one who's departed from reality. What, you can't read? I never said O.J. was innocent. I just said, we have to use full functioning reasoning when considering whether or not he's guilty. You of all people should know how much the media manipulated this case. They may not have been able to change certain facts... but you know they made people interprit the facts as more damning than they would have been if you were learning about them from scientific examiners, and the media totally played the "evil Big Black man" card as much as they could. Because it got more people to tune in, which is their obligation to the people who pay them so much. I don't know whether or not he did it, but at least I'm not stupid enough to say the media proved he did. Are you?

The media didn't "fool" me on this anymore than they did on trying to sell the Iraq war. I made up my own mind on that by using critical thinking just like I did on the subject of OJ's guilt or innocence. If you're tying to say that I'm not smart enough to be onto what the media's capable of you need to go back and read my "Circle of Manipulation" theory I posted last week. This is one sheep that never has, and never will follow the shepards as they lead everyone else off the cliff. As far as your theory on the whole OJ debate, you need to consider whether you're being logical or simply apathetic.

Logic is flexible. I think I'm being logical in questioning this, not deciding it. I don't think there's any need for me to decide whether or not he's guilty. Because I'm smart enough to know: A) it doesn't matter what I think or decide, and B) O.J. poses no threat to me whatsoever. Nor does any black man his size or celebrity, currently famous and fortunate or fallen from grace.
Apathetic? To a certain extent, yes. For those same reasons listed above. And for the fact that the most disturbing thing to me is how so many people were pretty damn hot on him being guilty just because he's black - not how people keep saying he "got off" because he was rich. There is still to this day a lot of racism in this country. I see it every day, with my own eyes. I hear it with my own ears. There is a lot more to take into account here than the media could prove.
And I'm trying to be personally responsible for how I think. I can't make a decision without considering all the facts. Things I would have had to be there in person to see with my own eyes and hear with my own ears to be able to say I know anything about this. How does it even touch our lives whatsoever? It doesn't mean celebrities by and large have it any easier when they get in trouble than they've had it for decades now because of O.J.'s verdict.

Why do you keep trying to make it into a race issue? I've never said anything that points towards me thinking he's guilty because of his race, "size", or wealth. I have plenty of friends who are black. In fact one of my roommates is not only black, he's gay and from a different country (Kenya). I take great offense to someone trying to imply that I'm a biggot of any kind. I accept everyone for who/what they are. People's words and actions are all I do, or have ever, judged anyone on. Period. Don't you even think of ever going here again with me, pal, as it will most definitely NOT be tolerated by me under any circumstances.

Why do you keep insisting that I'm saying this has anything to do with you? I never said your name directly. Are you paranoid? And wasn't it you who said I take everything personally? Maybe that sword cuts both ways? Seriously, cut the s hit. I made it completely obvious who I was refering to. You're only bringing this back to you because then it makes it easier to discredit me.

I'm bringing it back to you because you DIDN'T name anyone. Since it wasn't directed at anyone, but was posted underneath MY previous post, exactly why should I assume that it was intended for anyone other than me? It's usually wise to make perfectly CLEAR who you're calling out as a racist, specifically.

How much more plain and obvious do I have to be. Read it again, READ IT this time, and THINK!!! this time. "So many people" isn't 1 person, nor is it you. That's why it's plural and has the words "so many" in front of it.

Bullshit. You posted it directly under what I posted no more than 2 minutes beforehand. I'm the only one logged on. You knew I'd read it before anyone else. You knew d**n well what you were doing. Don't claim ignorance to me. Not when you've professed genius so many times previously.

I'm not claiming ignorance - I'm talking about everyone who fits that description. You're just feeling guilty because you think I'm saying you're afraid of black people. That's all on your head, not mine. My conscience is clear.

why do you keep bringing the race thing up..i dont think hes guilty for being black or famous.. I didn't say either one of you were racists. With me, you have to know that if I'm saying something about someone - I come right out and say it. I do not imply. thats you you are defending OJ..and dont tell me your not because you are... No I'm not. If you think I am, you aren't exactly playing with a full deck. any decent person with any common sense knows hes guilty.. Bulls hit. If that were true, he would be in jail for killing his wife right now. dont pull up all the media garbage..everything pointed to him doing it all the evidence and they never found any1 else... What makes you think they were looking for anyone else? Do you have proof of that? Don't say things unless you're sure. he was jealous and killed her..case closed.. He was jealous? Are you a psychologist? How would you know that? Jealous of what?
