^^^^ Oh yea, it's everywhere I look or listen for about a week now. The other night I was watching the usually reliably newsworthy Rachel Maddow Show and even she strayed from the path of real news to cover this garbage.

I guess the latest news on this front is that he's "sorry."
The joke is that, I don't have an opinion on this guy or this thing he did- one way or the other.

Exactly. I really couldn't care any less about it either. The guy had a spazz attack, big whup......people do it everyday.
I think crap like this appeals only to people who have ridiculously mundane and monotonous lives so this type of thing gives them something to obsess over and feel somewhat superior to in some sort of trite way. I'm speaking of course about people who walk around and say things like "I'll never watch another movie with this guy in it! What an awful human being!" If a shmuck with a camera followed those same people around all day and recorded every aspect of their life, I'm guessing they'd find out they're not as great as apparently they think. Actually, it'd be true for any human being really. Part of our nature is to be emotional, and that can lead to saying/doing some pretty stupid things sometimes.
I guess now that I think about it, hearing it played over and over doesn't annoy me (just for pure entertainment, it is pretty funny), what drives me nuts is listening to people spout judgement with a holier than thou tone. A lot of people just really really need to get a life.

If people could see my actual, honest, physical spaz attacks - I would have been locked up years ago. I think crap like this appeals only to people who have ridiculously mundane and monotonous lives so this type of thing gives them something to obsess over and feel somewhat superior to in some sort of trite way. I'm speaking of course about people who walk around and say things like "I'll never watch another movie with this guy in it! What an awful human being!" Actually, it'd be true for any human being really. Part of our nature is to be emotional, and that can lead to saying/doing some pretty stupid things sometimes. On that whole front, I just always think: There are you know, X-many celebrities. And there are XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX...-many "other people." The more people, more advertising being forced upon people (everything fucking comes with an ad attached these days!!), the more people are programmed to follow it all. I guess now that I think about it, hearing it played over and over doesn't annoy me (just for pure entertainment, it is pretty funny), what drives me nuts is listening to people spout judgement with a holier than thou tone. A lot of people just really really need to get a life. I know what you mean. The worst are people who use their political and religious affiliations to say- (basically-) it all comes from them not following what I believe in, practicing what I preach. It doesn't get more condescending than that. But that's not as common as what you're refering to. As for me, I learned long ago that you don't need to comment on EVERYTHING that happens. Who would even want to? A wannabe news anchor? Someone with no life whatsoever is right.

Thanks. I don't have Monsters-HD, though.
I would KILL to see people posting, like, old mid-1990's Cinemax / HBO ads for horror movies up on YouTube. They used to have this great "Thursday Horror" thing that TOTALLY influenced my love of horror. And ads for TNT's Monstervision marathon of Friday the 13th. Or, USA's Friday the 13th marathon.

Oh yea I remember those! In fact I'm sure if I went and dug through some of my old worn out vhs recordings from back in the day I could find a few. Hmmmmm could be an interesting project.............If I get a break from uploading all my MST3K eps I'll see if I can find some time to get some of them up on the ol' Youtube if I can find them.

You know, I actually just found what I was looking for! It's not on YouTube, but someone gave me directions to Shiversofhorror.com, and they have a wonderful page of TV marathon clips campblood.shiversofhorror.com/index2.htmIf they give you crap, just go here: campblood.shiversofhorror.com/Then click on Enter (of course), then in the list click Multimedia, and that's where you can find what I found. I went into Commercials. Don't get too excited about the Uncut Video clips though. Everything they've got you can see in much better quality on Paramount's boxset.

This is one of my favorites. It doesn't exactly work, but the fact that it doesn't makes it even funnier! :

not bad, i love recut trailers but most of them are alot funnier then that one Yeah. But I actually think it is pretty funny. Especially the use of the "RALPHIE!!!" over the black screen. Here's a fun racist one ;D :
