My little boy is all grown up..... j/k
Hey Lowkey, I just heard something cool on Screwattack.com( where I get 95% of my gaming news and it also has a cool archive of NES,SNES, and Sega Genesis games that they review). Anywho, they report that there was a group of FF11 fanboys who went on an 18-hour marathon trying to beat some boss called Demonica or something like that. They reportedly had to stop when some of them started puking...wimps! Supposedly the hardest boss at least in the FF universe. Can you clarify this?

I heard something about that, but wasn't sure what it was about. I haven't played much since about April, and that was right after the newest expansion was released. Demonica could be a new HNM added with that expansion, but I don't know. As far as I know Absolute Virtue is still considered the toughest. He has only been defeated a handful of times in about four years, and every time the group that did it, used a glitch. There's also Dark Rider who has only been seen a few times, on just a few servers in the last 2 years. No one has really been able to damage him, and no one's for sure if he's even meant to be killed. Vrtra, Tiamat, Fafnir, and Nidhong are probably still the toughest, that the majority of endgame shells actually have a shot at defeating. For the better shells, it's more a matter of trying to defeat them with as few people as possible. I looked on Allakhazam and Blue Garter for something on this 18 hour battle, but came up with nothing. I haven't done that much endgame stuff, because I just never had the time to devote that the hardcore shells require. My old shell was a lot more casual. We stuck with gods, Dynamis, and other stuff that could be planned around everyone's schedule, and we never gave anyone shit if they couldn't make it. Mostly we were just about having fun. Some people take the game way too seriously, and treat it like it's a job or something. Here's a video of us doing Kirin. Kirin was once considered the hardest monster in the game, and took 2+ hours to kill. Today people have figured out how to kill him in under 5 minutes: tinyurl.com/6bx4t4

Half-Life 2 has some nice visuals but not enough story to keep me entertained.

Good point. I never got stuck once.In Oblivion, you could jump on a boulder wrong and get stuck.

Not to me. I feel it cheapens the whole experience. I'd be a few hours in, it would cut to a loading screen and then BAM! Frozen. This happened at least 5 times in a one month period. Maybe it's a PS3 problem though...

having a game freeze is the worst thing in the world when it comes to games, especially if the game doesnt have auto save, luckily its very very very rare that it happens

Do you have a sidekick in that one? Sort of looks like a spiky-weasel.

I hear the new Sonic that came out or is coming out is pissing off hardcore Sonic fans big time.
I am on a quest tomorrow to pick up Mega Man Anniversary edition for the PS2. It's got Mega Man 1-6 and tons of extra shit. Anyone else a Mega-fan?

Mega Man...some of my most frustrating NES moments were thanks to Mega Man 1 or 2. Fun series though.
Have you played Dead Rising? In it you can unlock Mega Man's armor and buster. The armor is just for looks, but the buster is one of the most powerful weapons in the game.

just downloaded Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty from the Playstation Network. I already finished it too. It is very short because it is an internet exclusive. It's very good though for a PSN game. Well worth checking out for people who played the last one.
