Figured we should have a thread like this so I don't always have to hunt for game reviews.
Condemned 2-Bloodshot= Just picked up this morning for $40 new.Well worth it. I am guaranteed to have shitty-pants tonight... You pretty much get to beat up on "demons" and meth-heads with pipes, fake-legs, and other assorted goodies. So far, this is the scariest game I have ever played. Will post final thoughts after completion.

Resident Evil: Deadly Silence for the Nintendo DS
Deadly Silence is essentially the first Resident Evil, but portable. It's still as scary as ever, with the use of unnerving camera angles and haunting music. Skinless dogs jumping through windows still sends me flying out of my seat. The best part of the game is the Rebirth Mode, which incorporates the DS's unique functions. For example, at one point you must perform mouth-to-mouth on an injured commrade by blowing into the microphone. Also, many of the puzzles require the use of the stylus. I'd recommend this game to anyone who wants to relive old Playstation memories, or to someone who just wants a scare or two. A-

The Elder Scrolls IV. For anyone who's ever played it, I just charged into battle with Martin outside an Oblivion gate. Just when you think it can't get any better, it does. A+. 10/10

i really want to play Condemned 2, i might have to pick it up now that it had a price drop
as for me i last played mass effect, i dont think it was as epic as some of the reviews made it out to be, but it was still a great game

Condemned 2 just gets better and better. There are some crime scenes that you have to investigate, which includes using UV lighting to make out blood spatters and also figuring out who the victims are.WOW!

Oblivion-Game of the Year edition(PS3) = If you want the most in-depth RPG experience, look no further. There is so much crap to do from uber-numerous side-quests and repairing all your equipment/healing yourself every few minutes. Too in-depth for me but if you have a lot of patience, give it a shot.(Final Fantasy is still my fave) 7/10

I've never been a fan of RPGs. I like my games full of action and explosions. Take, for example, those Sims games. I have never felt the urge to play a game where I have to take out the trash and use the bathroom. The reason I want to play a game in the first place is to forget responsibility!

it is not a turn-based RPG. it incorporates almost all genres. there is nothing the game doesn't have except for racing. i am hopelessly addicted to it. anyway i just finished Metal Gear Solid 4. I loved the gameplay, but there should have been more of it. The cinematics with people talking and talking went on for waaaay too long. Every time a scene started it was like "millions of years ago before Sigourney Weaver...."

I heard that they had overdid it with the cinematics.
Is Dark sector the game where the guy uses a Krull-like weapon?(glaive) Either way I haven't tried it yet.

COD4: The single player game ain't bad, but it's way too short. The AI is retarded too. There's only two reactions targets have to you; they are hostile or dead. Fair enough, but when you have a guy lying on the ground wounded, make it somewhat realistic. Sure some people might choose to go out in a blaze of glory, but most people would either lie there clutching their wound, or taking cover/surrender. The other thing that is stupid is that your team is virtually indestructible, piss-poor shooters, and apparently nearly invisible, since almost all hostile fire is directed to you in most missions. Dogs are just fucking evil in this game. They are pretty hard to shoot if you aren't expecting them, and even then you just have to fire from the hip, and hope for the best, instead of aiming. If one gets you on the ground, you are supposed to be able to take them out with your knife, but I haven't been able to do it once. Fortunately there aren't really that many dogs in the game.
There are some pretty cool missions though. One lets you be a gunner on an AC-130. Another has you taking out tanks and stuff from an Apache helicopter. My favorite mission takes place in Chernobyl, and is all about stealth. All three are way to short though. The first two barely last any time at all.
I haven't touched the multiplayer part of the game yet, and probably won't. The last thing I need is to deal with 13 year olds telling me they humped my mom, and bragging about how leet they are. I'll just stick to FFXI for online gaming, since the community is pretty mature, and friendly for an online game. I am going to check out the mod tools though, and see about making some single player missions for myself.

I LOVE Call of Duty 4. I don't usually buy into hype, but the reviews were right...it's one of the best FPS games ever made. The sniper missions were consistently intense, and the ending was perfect.
The last game I played was Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. I don't know if I've ever said how big of a MK fan I am, but I'm in love with the series. Armageddon is a great game. There are over 60 characters to choose from, an intense adventure side game, a kart racer, and a kreate-a-fighter option.
I'd give it an 8/10
