Yet another french horror flick that is supposed to be beyond extreme (like Inside and Frontiers) and beyond great. I'm skeptical but I still wanna see it. Read the fangoria review: www.fangoria.com/ghastly_review.php?id=6689

I don't trust movies that claim to be "extreme". I mean, just look at the steaming pile of penguin dung known as Murder Set Pieces.

"Extreme" is the modern equivalent of "Whatever-O-Rama" and "A-Go-Go." The Cinema Snob summed it up pretty good too: "If your movie title ends in A-Go-Go, then your movie is A-Shit-Shit.

I typed "Them" into the search on Emule, and came up with:
1. a bunch of porn, mostly beastiality, gangbangs, simulated rape, lesbians, and anal sex 2. A Laurel and Hardy Short 3. More porn, apparently some of it's Turkish, and personally I think the idea of Turkish people fucking sounds as repulsive as the beastiality and rape. 4. Stargate Episodes 5. A Cannibal Corpse video 6. The movie Them, but it doesn't say if it's subbed/dubbed, or not.

The last times I was actually in Blockbuster, I always overheard someone at the register / counter requesting a title that they didn't have in-stock. It (would) seems a lot of people aren't really satisfied with their selection.

They certainly can't beat the mom and pop stores of the 80s. I mean Blockbuster manages to have a million and one copies of certain movies in stock, yet the rest of their selection is terrible. At the mom and pop stores they always had something worth renting. You might have had to wait a few months to get the hottest new release, but other than that they had a great selection. I'm not sure how thats even physically possible either. Blockbusters are huge buildings, while I've been to mom and pop stores that were in damn trailers. Yet Blockbuster stores always have less. It's mind boggling.
Blockbuster has always had a better selection of games though.

Even though I made a big deal a year or so ago about the "review"ers saying Season 1 of Masters of Horror is better than Season 2, I have never really trusted those people. For insance, Dread Central gave one of Uwe Boll's movies 5 out of 5.
