well like you said you have to be very forgiving when watching low budget movies, its not fair to rate them on the same scale you would rate a bigger budget movie

Absolutely. They belong in a category all of their own. And if they're horror movies, I'm even more forgiving. But the basics have to apply, unless you've chosen to abandon the basics, then you're playing by a new set of rules.

i finally got around to watching it like a week ago. i really liked it. the script and casting were both very good. unexpected twists and unexpected funnyness at times too. a cool independent horror movie. my verdict: 7.5/10. I just found out that the guy who did this also did a horror flick that just came out on dvd. It is called Zombies Anonymous aka Last Rites of the Dead. i wonder if it is any good.

i downloaded it from isohunt and put it on my psp. i am going to take a bus trip to Denver pretty soon and i plan on watching it on the bus. it looks worth seeing. i love a rare horror gem.
