Cute picture.
But T's description is just one more example of what's wrong with team sports - all teams are the same. To "hate" one and not all others is as pointless as jumping off a skyscraper because you need exercise. They're all the same. Besides, sports are "SUPPOSED" to be fun. Yet we have another thing people have ruined by injecting too much lame, misdirected fanaticism into it.
Let alone the fact that now you equate people you hate with homosexuals... That's pathetic, but a whole other issue.

what the hell are you talking about??? sports teams are anything but the same.. thats the great thing about sports when we go to war would you call us and iraq the same??? NO. .sure we are both fighting but we are far from the same Do you think War and Sports are the same thing? You know- you may be onto something. We are certainly in a serious Culture War against the evils that Sports have caused. sports may not be your thing and thats fine..but sports are HUGE all over the world and most guys love at least one sport Sorry to shatter your illusion, but there are a great deal of men that know how stupid most sports are. and you say they are supposed to be fun.. and thats just what they are.. watching the NY Giants play is the thing i look forward to more then anything else.. now thats FUN What's fun about petty hatred? "I hate" so and so's "team" / "I hate" so and so player. Team sports are a breeding ground for misplaced aggression, anger, hatred, and a lot of other bad things - drugs, prostitution, fear, jealousy, suicide, rape, etc. I mean, you complain about O. J. Simpson and what he did- he was a football player. If he really did murder those people, I wouldn't be surprised. When athletes get famous, they become egomaniacal and violent, sure. Look at Tyson beating up his wife, look at that black basketball player who got in trouble for raping or screwing an underaged girl, look at: all the steroids and " 'Roid Rage," high school players raping cheerleaders and they can't tell anyone because of the high pressure sports fans put on people to care about the guys and not the girls, look at Magic Johnson or whoever got AIDS, and the basketball player who wrote a book about sleeping with all those women - where was these women's self respect(?) - they don't have any because they know being with a sports star means the women don't matter-only the men matter - to people like you who think sports are so important. Look at Ace Ventura - that scene where he goes to the guy who fumbled the ball's house. The guy was a psycho because of the pressure of sports. That's not far off from real life. But in real life, players who screw up or displease fans also get death-threats from fans. Gay players get death-threats if they come out. Other famous players make statements about how we should all hate gay players too. Look at Fever Pitch movie with Drew Barrymore - if she says something unflattering about a sports team, an entire bar will attack her. Look at all the umpires or referees who have been attacked by players and fans in the audience because they made a call people didn't like. Even in 1946, Disney's movie Make Mine Music had a scene showing how violent sports fans are - a WOMAN character said "KILL HIM! KILL THE UMPIRE!" - over 60 years ago!!! Look at McEnroe's psychotic mental breakdowns. That basketball guy who freaked out and threw chairs on the court. Look at Cheerleaders - they're nothing more than strippers who don't take off all their clothes. Look at how much money people get paid just to throw or bounce a ball around! Even the people the fans hate make multi-millions!!! And with all that money, comes corruption. Then, you mix money and corruption with fame and physical violence... You have to be the most naive person in the world not to know how dangerous sports are. I have only listed a few examples. There are hundreds of millions more. Sports cause hundreds of thousands of tragedies, deaths, assaults, and other horrible things each day.

maybe a great deal of gay men dont like sports but most men do..
and all you are doing is ranting about nothing because you hate sports and anything you hate cant be good
sports are a fun way to kill time and like i said most men love at least 1 sport..and whether you want to admit it or not you know its true

maybe a great deal of gay men dont like sports but most men do.. See - you are turning this into a "gay" thing. My statement holds water even when we're not talking about gay men. and all you are doing is ranting about nothing because you hate sports and anything you hate cant be good You wish. God, you're in such denial - it's scary. Sports kills people and destroys the lives of a large percentage of the human population. But just because you "like" them... it's okay. Doesn't that seem a little selfish to you? You don't care who gets hurt as long as you get your fix?

sports dont kill people and destroy lives..thats just life.. there is drama in everything.. but the fact is thats just how life is..sure you can pick out all the things you dont like and bash them but thats not the truth..sports can destroy people yes.. as can movies, tv and everything else in the world

sports can destroy people yes.. as can movies, tv and everything else in the world THAT'S BULLSHIT and if you believe that, you are retarded and stupid. Or you are in extreme denial. And for a movie fan - you are supposed to know that. Movies and TV do not make people go out and rape people, movies and TV do not make people into killers. Team / Professional Sports do. People are killers of influence. And art is not a negative influence. Art does not make people go out and do bad things. Sports do. Sports reinforce self esteem patterns, the attitudes parents adapt toward their kids are reinforced by the self esteem patterns they learn from sports and other people who watch and/or teach sports. Parents either teach their kids to value things (like winning) more than people, or they ignore the kids and the kids take the violence and anger they learn from either bigotry or sports and inflict violence and hatred on other people. Creating a cycle of violence and hatred that causes most of the serious problems in the world. I won't say sports started it all. War pretty much did that. But for the last 3 decades, sports in America have taken the place of war. Sports are used to form the elite groups in high school or in the towns where the people live and that group does wrong to everyone else. Sports reinforces elitism as much as it does institutionalized violence. Elitism leads to rape and crime. Sports causes the problems of society - Movies and TV are reflections of what is already present and happening in society.

ok well either you misunderstood me or i wasnt clear.. i didnt mean movies and tv make people go kill and rape other people.. i too agree that thats a pathetic excuse.. basically what i meant was the stress for some people in the movie biz and being a celebrity can destroy themselves.. just as athletes can
but you saying sports causes the problems of society and lead people to violence and all that crap is just as much bullshit as saying movies and video games make people kill other people
again you hate sports so you are trying to bash them just like with everything else..in your warped head if you dont like it then it cant be good

the stress for some people in the movie biz and being a celebrity can destroy themselves.. just as athletes can Movie / TV celebrities can destroy themselves. But sports and athletes destroy themselves and often, many other people. but you saying sports causes the problems of society and lead people to violence and all that crap is just as much bullshit as saying movies and video games make people kill other people No it's not. I just provided solid proof. Look at all the examples I've given of how sports and athletes kill, rape, attack, harass, and destroy millions of people. There are so many more, we'd need an entire extra new message board to handle the volume. Watch the news - there's a brand new thing everyday (probably one every hour) about how sports have caused violence, murder, or something else horrible. again you hate sports so you are trying to bash them just like with everything else..in your warped head if you dont like it then it cant be good You're the one with the warped head. And you don't care. At least I'm not a killer. You are an accomplice to murder and worse.

HAHA ok.. you are acting like a religous freak now How so? you were never good enough to play a sport and could never understand or get into watching them so you bash them...just stop Don't tell me what to do. I'll do whatever I want, when I want. And I do play sports. I love playing basketball with friends. But unlike people like you - I'm smart enough to know that when it gets competitive, it's not fun anymore. Playing sports is supposed to be fun and be a way to exercise / keep fit, and get out aggression in a healthy way. But you would prefer them to be violent and cut-throat. You don't care who gets hurt or killed just so you can have a nasty, angry time watching people's lives go down the drain.

there is nothing wrong with sports being competitive.. when players get hurt its not like it happens on purpose.. football is a competitive tough sport but most of the guys are friends off the field..sure when you got on the field you both go into battle but its not like any1 is out there to hurt any1..injuries are unfortunate but when you got big guys hitting each other they are gonna happen..and yea im sure they are a few guys who wanna hurt people.. but again thats not just sports that is everything else in the world..there are crazy people out there
when a sport gets more competitve it gets more fun..unles some1 takes it to far..but most people dont

These kinds of sports condition people to fight and cause damage even when they're not on the playing field, or playing for a crowd of fans. It seeps into the subconsciouses of the players and they become more angry, unbalanced, short tempered, and violent people. You mix that with the power of the ego they build up by the idiocy of the fans in the crowd screaming like these guys are rock stars... These people have God complexes, especially when you also take into consideration the millions and millions of dollars they are paid.
You have no idea of the full scope of this issue. Sorry. It's true.

the only sports where you are conditioned to fight or hurt some1 is where you are actually fighting
boxing, ufc stuff like that
you have no idea what you are talking about

Incorrect. It's you who have no idea. You're only looking at the sports. I'm actually looking at the people and how they live their lives when they're not playing. Plus, how they interact with us. How business affects that. And how people are trained to become professional sports players.
As usual, you don't get the point.
