If you could go back in time and meet just one person, who would it be and why?

im gonna go a diff route and go some1 from my moms side of the family...normally with stuff like this people pick some1 famous...and the reason i say some1 is because i dont know exactly who...but my moms side of the family is 100% italian and know some1 hd to be in the mafia..so whether it was my great grandfather or great great grandfather...thats who id wanna meet..and the reason is....well i said said it...i have always had an interest in the mafia so i think it would be cool to know some1 in it...plus if they were family i wouldnt really have to worry about getting double crossed and whacked...at least i hope not

Well, if they have to be a dead person I would like to have met... Debra Hill, Bob Clark, Richard Franklin. I don't know... never really thought about it.

Yeah, there are a lot to choose from once you start to really think about it. I still haven't pinpointed who I'd choose yet either.

Wow, I knew she was the little girl from the Poltergeist movies, but I had no idea she had died, more less suffered such a terrible death. Poor kid, she was so young!

I know, it's horrible. I cry every time that E True Hollywood Story on Poltergeist comes on and her mom starts describing the day she died.

Oh man, now that I've read up on what happened to this poor girl I don't think I'll ever be able to watch any of the Poltergeist movies again. It'd just be too sad to see her on screen and know what happened to her a few short years later. At least she made a mark on history before she passed. The scene where she says the famous line, "There heeeeeere." will be remembered as one of the great lines in movie history. Most people that live an entire lifetime never leave a legacy like that behind. Well done Miss O'Rourke, well done!
Btw maycanady, if you did get a chance to meet her, what would you want to ask her?

And let's not forget- the girl playing the sister was strangled to death by her real-life boyfriend. And she was the real-life sister of American Werewolf in London's Griffin Dunne. Everytime I listen to the AWiL audio commentary, I can't stop thinking of how he must feel about that. That sort of thing never goes away.

Actually, I have no idea what I'd want to ask her. I'd have to think about that one. And yeah, Dominique Dunn's death was tragic as well. I couldn't even imagine what it must be like to lose a family member like that. By the way, if anyone is home and bored at 5:00 eastern time today, the Curse of Poltergeist E True Hollywood Story is going to be airing on E. And, the THS of The Exorcist is airing two hours before that, at 3:00. I'm watching both because it's my day off today and I don;t have anything better to do. ;D

Vincent Price definitely.
Just because it'd be pretty fucking cool to hang out with him.
And Alfred Hitchcock would be my second pick...or John Ford.

HA! I need to see that. ;D Tsmooth has a link somewhere here where you can check out a pretty long clip. But be warned, the ending contains a zombie, a fist, and some poor perv's ass. That's all I'm gonna say.
