Personally, I have to go with Family Guy, since I still find it to be funny on a regular basis. I like The Simpsons too, but it's really been backsliding in recent years, which is a shame because it used to be THE best show on TV, bar none. I can take or leave American Dad and South Park, although I like them when I do watch them. So...what are your choices?

Oh man, Laz is gonna throw a fit over Family Guy getting votes! Haha, sorry Laz............I of course vote for Family Guy.
The Simpsons and South Park are tied in my book for second, and American Dad is basically Family Guy with diff characters. I'd also like to give "honorable mentions" to Sealab 2021 and The Venture Bros.

Simpsons. For old-times' sake. But after that, it's nothing but South Park. That show could make the most annoying, conservative, uptight, biggest jerk in the world laugh like a little girl!
Family Guy just plain bites. Rip-off, rip-off, rip-off. American Dad sucked at first but now it's gotten a wee bit more clever.

family guy isnt a rip off...thats like calling every slasher film a firday the 13th ripoff..then you can says friday the 13 is a ripoff of a slasher made before that..it may have been inspired by those shows but i wouldnt call it a rip off

I thought Family Guy was a Simpsons rip-off before I watched it too. It's not really though. It's more about doing parodies of pop-culture, especially from the 80s. The Kool Aid man busting through the wall, and Peter turning into the Incredible Hulk were great.
And like South Park said once, "Who cares if the Simpsons did it first. Nothing is original." Something like that anyway. That was one of my all time favorite episodes too.

"Brittany invited me to her party." "No kidding? Are you going?" "Sure. And after that, I think I'll swallow glass."
"Can you rig that glue gun of yours to shoot bullets? I'm ready to end my suffering." "Well, you're not your usually sunny self."
"You can't expect me to choose a boyfriend right away. That would be like eating the first pancake off the stove. You have to feed one to the dog."
"A spoonful of Sugar helps the medicine go down." "Not if your diabetic."
"I can't go back out there. You go on to Alternapalooza. Tomorrow, I'll emerge and begin my new life as a waitress."
"Don't be sad, Britney. He's with the winners now..."
"She'll never have to worry about mind control." "No, but she'll have to watch out for ferrets building a nest in her head."
"Tell Daria she can't go to Brittany's party. My popularity is at stake." "Now, don't begrudge your sister a chance to expand her circle of friends." "Maybe now she'll have two."
"Quinn, some guy named Skylar was looking for you this morning." "Oh, no! He figured out you're my sister?!" "Actually, he seemed to think I was your au pair. He asked me how I liked America so far."
"You going to Brittany's party?" "Uh, if we're invited." "You're on the team, dudes. When a cheerleader has a party, all the football players are automatically invited." "It's on page six of the play book."
"Maybe I could help you out in something." "Well, you could show me how to twirl hair around my little finger and look vacant." "I don't know if that's something you can teach."
"Is she gonna have, like, a breakdown, or something? 'Cause that could really mess me up with my new friends." "Don't worry, it's a mistake. I don't have low self-esteem. I have low esteem for everyone else."

Jane Lane was my favorite character, but my favorite quote came from Britney while being repremanded by Ms. Barge:
Ms. Barge: "Britney, stop letting Kevin debase you!" Britney: "But Ms. Barge, he wasn't anywhere near my base!"

It was a great show created by Mike Judge (Beavis & Butthead, King of the Hill) that aired on MTV back in the mid to late 90's. Here's the IMDB link: www.imdb.com/title/tt0118298/

I liked it a lot. But then again, I'm really really cynical so I could identify with the humor. It's deff worth checking out if you ever get the chance. Here's a link to a site where you can watch some of the episodes for free if anyone is interested: alloftv.net/index.php?content=episodes&show=278

Mike Judge didn't really have anything to do with the show. Daria was created by Glenn Eichler for Beavis and Butthead. He asked Judge permission to do the spin-off, and he agreed, but didn't want any part of it. By that point Judge was sick of working for MTV and was wanting to get away from the network. Judge of course went on to do King of the Hill.
Personally I always liked Daria better than King of the Hill. King of the Hill just never really appealed to me. There were some ok moments, but nothing great. Tom Anderson/Hank Hill just doesn't work without Beavis and Butthead imo.

I'd choose Daria over both King of the Hill and Beavis & Butthead. Now if I was back in the sixth grade again..............

I was in the 8th grade when I started liking Daria. I was in maybe 9th grade when I started liking Beavis & Butthead.
