Sometimes they are good. Like the Canada song. But yea, most of the time they are kind of boring.

The Canada song is pretty friggin' great. ;D I also liked the one from the Werewolf episode where Mike is becoming a Were-Crow and they sing "Where O Werewolf." I think there was one during the Mitchell ep that I liked too, but I can't remember. But yeah, after I've seen most of them once I tend to just fast forward through them.

Damn I haven't watched the Hobgoblins ep for a long time. My favorite scene is where those two jackasses are "jousting" out on that dork's front lawn. I laugh myself senseless everytime I see it.

Haha! I forgot about the casio keyboard sound effects! Truly crap-tacular! ;D And I know the scene you're talking about where that douche dancing with the girls. Always makes me laugh my ass off too. I really need to give this ep a viewing sometime soon now. One of my favorites!

haha o yea it is done
Status:Completed Comments:Slated for a Direct-to-DVD release in 2007
i guess its not gettin that 2007 release tho...ill deff have to get it on DVD tho..mike and the bots should come back just for this movie..i mean i would love for them to do more..but at the very least thaey should do this one..hell i say the director just goes to them and works out a deal with them..just realease the DVD with the MST3K commentary on it..im sure it would sell better haha

Haha! That's a pretty good idea. And you're right, they deff would sell more copies of it with the commentary included. I'm sure there's way more people that know it for getting MST3K'd than people who actually just saw the original movie. So why the hell would this director think this was a good movie to make a sequel to anyways? Does he enjoy being the creator of things that get mocked and riffed on? I'm gonna go check out what other movies he has under his belt..................

LMAO! Check this out.........................Here's a list of EVERY movie this director (Rick Sloane) has made between Hobgoblins and Hobgoblins 2:
-Vice Academy ('88) -Vice Academy Part 2 ('90) -Vice Academy Part 3 ('91) -Mind, Body, and Soul ('92) -Good Girls Don't ('93) -Vice Academy 4 ('94) -Vice Academy 5 ('96) -Babe Watch: Forbidden Parody ('96) -Vice Academy Part 6 ('98)
Lol, what a resume, huh? Guess he really "believed" in whatever the hell the premise of all those Vice Academy movies was, lol! Every title of those movies sounds like some dumbass shit you'd see on Cinemax at 2 in the morning. ;D

Yeah, I have no idea how you have that pathetic of a movie career, let it die for ten years, and then decide to make your "glorious comeback" with.....................HOBGOBLINS 2!!?? This Sloane fella is definitely a shmohawk for the ages.............. ;D And I was reading some of the descriptions for those Vice Academy movies and most of them didn't even make it to video. They were made by this dipshit especially for that show back in the 80's and 90's called "USA Up All Night." Anybody else remember that crap? It was hosted by that blonde bimbo...............Ronda something or another............It was softcore "edited" for cable television T & A movies for the most part. So if this dude was making movies to be shown only there, you know he's a winner. I mean why? What, was he rejected by REAL porn companies? Lmao!

I liked USA Up All Night. Not as much as Monstervision, 100% Weird, and Night Flight, but it was a fun show. I'd seen the Toxic Avenger before, but Up All Night is how I discovered Troma's greatness. Off the top of my head I remember seeing Surf Nazis, Nuke Em High 1 + 2, Chopper Chicks in Zombie Town, Toxie 1-3, and Troma's War on it. They also aired a few movies MST3K used as well--Hobgoblins, Laserblast, and Zombie Nightmare.
