This Island Earth is really a good movie for it's time. The riffing was funny, but I think I prefer the actual movie.

I'm sure most people think Night of the Living Dead was better than the MST3K episode. I however never much cared for the movie. I didn't really understand it. I never saw the political elements and underlying messages that everyone else says are there. If I did, I'm sure I would have newfound respect for it. The fact that none of the prints I've ever seen of it look any good doesn't help it out at all, either...
Squirm was great. But I've never seen that episode of MST3K, so I can't say if anything they said was funnier than the movie itself. But Squirm wasn't meant to be funny, so I'll say there's no way the MST3K was creepier than the movie. So, still - Squirm is great.

^^ There was never a Night of the Living Dead episode of MST3K. You're thinking of Rifftrax.
I don't think I've ever seen a movie that was better than when it was MST3K'd. Although I did watch the Godzilla movies a lot as a kid, so that was kinda weird to see them with Joel/Mike & the Bots ripping them apart...............Don't get me wrong though, those movies are crap and I laughed my a** off seeing them riffed.

I wasn't telling him he was wrong. Because this is how a person does that: YOU ARE WRONG. Did I say that?

Funny because it was a MST3K fan who told me they did. Alright Alaska, here's the entire series episode guide, including the rare KTMA episodes (ask your little fan friend if he even knows what THOSE ARE): www.geocities.com/Area51/Chamber/4575/guide.htmlPeruse throught that and SHOW ME where there's an episode where they did a take on Night of the Living Dead.

there you go again taking it as a personal shot when all i was doing was letting you know Well, you need to know that what you did was taking a shot at me. If you would look above, you would see that DAVE said the same thing you did and I responded to it. What you said was rude and assuming I didn't read what he said. Now, that's just for your information. I'm not trying to insult you. It was rude, so if you don't do it again, it won't be a problem.

There was another similar show back in the late 80s, on Nick at Night, called Mad Movies. They took old movies, and dubbed them with new Dialogue. It was ok, but not nearly as good as MST3k. Night of the Living Dead was featured on it though.
From what I remember of the episode, they made it seem like a big party going on instead of a zombie outbreak. A few amusing moments, but nothing brilliant. Then again I was a kid when I saw it, and may have missed a lot of the humor.

How about taking some New movies and putting Old dialogue in them? Goodness knows, for any of Mark Wahlberg's "dramas" to be any good, they would have to be in b&w and be 6 or 7 decades old to fool anyone into thinking they're better than dog droppings.

^^ They reported on the news a couple days ago that apparenty he's got some girlfriend in her early 20's. If that's true, then he's dating a girl who pretty much is the same age as his daughter. OJ, what a "great" guy...................
