I'd also recommend the Final Sacrifice, Time of the Apes, Santa Claus Conquors the Martians, and Space Mutiny too. lol There's just so many good episodes.

Stay away from Manos and Eegah! at first though. Both are fan favorites, but harder to get through if you aren't accustomed to the show yet. The actual movies are so bad(boring bad), I imagine it was very hard for the writers to come up with material for them.

Those are in my top 5 for sure. A couple of my recommendations are "Mitchell"( www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJDzZj4rG3s & www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOCqlKNW9rU ) and "Werewolf" ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZRLu6THR2Q ). I agree that Manos: The Hands of Fate is absolutely very tough to watch even with the riffs as it truly might be the worst movie ever made by anyone. The Torgo character is good though.
