I agree about the "science fiction" thing. But that still has little to do with the show.
The jokes are not (always) bad, the show is very clever and sharp (most of the time). It's a satire, for Pete's sake.
Plus, I'm sure you like your fair share of entertainment reaching cult status. Re-Animator?

I love tons of geeky things and would be considered a geek by a lot of people. I just don't see how anyone could deny that this show is nerdy. It has mad scientists and robots FFS!

It's also the type of thing you'd expect to see at a comic con.

A mad scientist and robots? Do you actually watch the show, or just see bits of it when you're channel-surfing? People don't love it because of the robots. They love it because of the funny comments when the movie is playing. I know, because even my Dad thinks the show is funny. And my Dad listens to Toby Keith.

See, I picture a Toby Keith fan laughing at almost anything, including their own farts. That means nothing to me. I thought we were talking about what makes it nerdy, not why a few nerds think it's funny. So what if you laugh a few times, that doesn't make it worth my time. Don't you ever make jokes about TV or Movies with your friends? Do you really want to watch a show about people doing the same?

I thought we were talking about what makes it nerdy, not why a few nerds think it's funny. A-ha! It's not just a few nerds who think it's funny. And the show is technically only a cult-thing because not many people know about it. So what if you laugh a few times, that doesn't make it worth my time. Don't you ever make jokes about TV or Movies with your friends? Do you really want to watch a show about people doing the same? Most people's friends are not as funny as the commentators for this show.

I noticed that. But I'm sure there are worse cartoons, though. I liked several episodes. But I haven't seen it in almost a year.

Aqua Teens were great for the first three seasons. After that I think Williams Street was trying to destroy it. The last season did have a few good moments, but overall it blew hard.
