Christmas Evil / You Better Watch Out is a good one. But be prepared... it's not a slasher film. It's a psychological / exploitation / voyeurism horror film. Sort of like Psycho or Private Parts (1972).

You saw the Troma DVD for purchase? That thing's out of print. It's been for years.
I have the Synapse Widescreen Unrated Director's Cut version.
If you have a chance to get that Troma DVD, get it now! It has an interview with the actor. Synapse's DVD doesn't have anything with any of the actors.

That's why I dig my DVD place. The owner is a fan himself so he brings in a lot of titles that aren't mainstream.Every one of my Tromas are from there as well as my limited edition Bad Taste. Still no luck with Cannibal Holocaust or Necromantik but soon...

Thanks for the tips Laz. I have heard a lot about Cannibal Holocaust for years but am sure that I wouldn't like the Animal Cruelty scenes. It's funny... a person tortured or decapitated doesn't really bug me but animal shit does. Time to go picket the Humane Society!!! j/k
As for Nekromantik, it sounds neat and is hard to get so it must be good.Right?!

Thanks for the tips Laz. I have heard a lot about Cannibal Holocaust for years but am sure that I wouldn't like the Animal Cruelty scenes. It's funny... a person tortured or decapitated doesn't really bug me but animal shit does. Time to go picket the Humane Society!!! j/k Exactly. And that's all there is to it. Except that I think there's no excuse to kill animals just to make a movie. Ever. If you're using an already dead body of an animal - like John Waters did in Desperate Living - that's fine. As for Nekromantik, it sounds neat and is hard to get so it must be good. Right?! Well... I don't know. It's mostly about a guy and a girl having sex with a corpse. So... It's not exactly the typical scare-themed horror film. Which is probably what makes it most appealing to people. But, if they don't even try for a scare... I don't know. Nekromantik is one of those movies I think is more effective in my head than it could ever be if I sat down and watched it.
