I could watch it if I really wanted to. It's on my Comcast On-Demand service thing (as is 1988's The Blob remake). But I hate Leonardo DiCaprio.

I used to hate Matt Damon. Until Talented Mr. Ripley. Whether he went crazy for that role or just pretended to, I have nothing but respect for him now.

For me, he just seems totally generic in most of his roles. Not to mention that he's just a little too squeaky clean for my taste.

I can't argue with that at all. I'm sure I agree with that, because I never used to like him for any reason. But I can't hate him anymore either. However, I can go on hating Owen Wilson forever. I'm just fine with that.

That's the same reason why I have not or will not watch any of the Bourne movies. He makes Martha Stewart seem tough!
I agree Vinny Price.Leo is damn good in it. I also really enjoyed Alec Baldwin's enjoyable but limited screen time. I have to say that I still don't care too much about Marky Mark though.

..he also seems to try to hard..he wants to act like a tough guy but he cant pull it off You think you know what tough guys are like? Seriously, what are the qualifications? Don't pull that crap. "He's not a good enough tough guy." So what? I buy him as a tough guy every bit as much as I buy Mark Wahlberg.

I find both Wahlberg and Damon to be sexy, in their own ways. But Wahlberg is no badass. Never was, never will be. Seriously- "street cred" doesn't mean a thing when you used to be a disco-dancing pop-rapper.

just because he used to rap doesnt mean anything...people go through diff phases in life..you cant hold that agaisnt any1.. Yes I can. Because it's public domain. He got paid, very well for being a teen idol / heartthrob, selling disco-pop dance records, jumping up and down, and dropping his pants to sell underwear. Tight, form-fitting underwear. People like you, who so desperately want Wahlberg's "tough guy" movies to erase that, need to remember that you can't forget the past. You have to hold this guy accountable for his past just the same as anyone else. And this is all image related. So, this is permanent. I think you honestly see this guy as some kind of role model. You want to be him because you think he looks tough and that that's so cool. It's all an image makeover. Like Will Smith doing dramatic roles in stuff like Ali after the pathetic after-school special that was the "gun violence" episode of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. You can call it a phase all you want to, but Wahlberg is no cooler than Damon. And no "bad ass." No way, no how- no day. Never will be. haha yea mark wahlberg would mop the cage up with matt gaymon Okay, now you're going too far. You are literally saying you want to see Matt Damon harmed for not being someone else. Why should everyone you don't approve of have to be someone else? He's not committing any crime.
