And he just happened to pretty much be right about squirm..better known as garbage. Anyway - you 2 wouldn't have a clue about squirm..better known as garbage's quality. Wow, looks like your sub-conscious is telling you what the rest of us already know about that steaming pile of shit movie.

Squirm is a good movie - it's that insecure loser TSmooth (Sorry, T, you asked for it!) who changed the word censor thinking this was funny. GET A LIFE, you little child.

If you like atmosphere, strange movies, shocking things, and don't mind something different than what the Michael Myers Halloween movies were... you might like Halloween III. I'd say check it out.

I love Season of The Witch. Other than the first 2 installments, I'd take it over every other installment in the series. The way that television is incorporated into killing thousands of children is not only a great underlying message, but is also done really, really well. I won't say anything else 'cuz I don't wanna spoil it for ya T. You should definitely check it out. I must warn you though, the "music" they play will get stuck in your head for at least a week!

I totally agree. It really is a genius movie. The critics slammed it, though. Because they didn't like ... well, Dave said he shouldn't spoil it, I'll go in his footsteps and just say, it was controversial.
I found The Doctor and the Devils (1985) for $5.00 in WalMart, in a new "Special Interest" section and had to snatch it up. I went there, looking for Masters of Horror: Family and The Washingtonians, but I only would have gotten 1 if I could get the other. And Family's been there every time I've gone since the very week it came out... now suddenly... it's not there. And The Washingtonians was $10! I said, "no friggin' way!" I also wanted to get Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the Movie since it was there for the same price and I've always loved that movie ("You broke up with my machine?!"). Maybe next time...

Well, Rutger Hauer was Lothos (I'm doing this to try and jog my memory)... You know... I don't think they ever said his character's name once in the entire movie.

Just bought 'Hell Night' (1981) for 2.99 at Movie Stop. ;D I remember it being cheesy as hell, but for that price I was willing to buy it and re-visit it.

Cheesy? Sure a little bit. But it's atmospheric and creepy. Not as bad as it sounds or looks.

Since stuff like this will literally drive me crazy, I stopped by IMDB to look it up. It lists the Reubens character as "Amilyn." I think you must be right about them never mentioning his name 'cuz that didn't ring any bells for me. Guess since you bought it that should give you something to look for when you get around to watching it.

Are You Afraid of the Dark is actually available on DVD from Canada (I think the first season and then a collection of episodes from all seasons). I've been thinking of ordering it if I can find a site that will ship to the US, since Canadian dvds are still region 1. ;D
