Here are some Horror DVDs, and how much time you get for Video bonus features (I've added only the Bonus Features, and only the Bonus Features that are time-calculated and run on a Chapter-Track under a Title-Track, of which on many DVDs, there are several / audio commentaries don't count): 1. Dawn of the Dead (1978): 4-disc Ultimate Edition (Anchor Bay) 3:45:11 / 3 hours, 45 minutes, 11 seconds Total 2. The Fly (1986): 2-disc Collector's Edition (20th Century Fox) 3:40:48 / 3 hours, 40 minutes, 48 seconds Total 3. A Nightmare on Elm Street series (1984-1994): 8-disc Platinum Edition boxset (New Line Cinema) 3:33:08 / 3 hours, 33 minutes, 08 seconds Total 4. Friday the 13th series (1980-1989): 5-disc Ultimate Edition boxset (Paramount) 3:12:13 / 3 hours, 12 minutes, 13 seconds Total 5. From Dusk Till Dawn (1996): 2-disc Collector's Edition (Buena Vista/Dimension) 3:09:23 / 3 hours, 09 minutes, 23 seconds Total - 6. Masters of Horror: Pick Me Up (2005, Anchor Bay) 2:38:42 / 2 hours, 38 minutes, 42 seconds Total 7. Masters of Horror: Homecoming (2005, Anchor Bay) 2:33:22 / 2 hours, 33 minutes, 22 seconds Total 8. Scream trilogy (1996-2000): 4-disc Ultimate boxset (Buena Vista/Dimension) 2:32:50 / 2 hours, 32 minutes, 50 seconds Total 9. Masters of Horror: Jenifer (2005, Anchor Bay) 2:26:16 / 2 hours, 26 minutes, 16 seconds Total 10. The Hills Have Eyes (1977): 2-disc edition (Anchor Bay) 2:15:07 / 2 hours, 15 minutes, 07 seconds Total 11. Re-Animator (1985): 2-disc Millennium Edition (Elite) 2:00:30 / 2 hours, 30 seconds Total Edit: Another note about the Amounts of the video extras. Besides not adding the audio commentaries (which is really easy to figure out, just add the movie / show running time again), I also chose not to add extras that didn't pertain to the actual making of the movie itself (like the Geographic Industrial Short Films on the Criterion Collection 2-disc of Carnival of Souls). Or extras that repeated themselves (like Red Band/Green Band trailers that run the exact same length).

Wow! How did you figure all those out?

Manually. I own them all.
I put them all in my player, turned on the Display button, and wrote down all their running times, and added them together.

You own them all? It's good to know there's someone so dedicated to horror that they would type this up for us. I definitely wouldn't have the will power to manually figure all those out!

Without a doubt, the most tiring thing is typing it up. I wrote and added the totals up on paper. That was easy and quick.

It's a classic. If there's any chance you can see it, take it. A movie where a guys deformed siamese twin that looks like a huge tumour with an arm and face kills people is a classic? ? Classically crappy maybe, and damned hilarious.

Hey Lazario, what's "Rabid" like? I've never heard of it.

Well, I thought the movie was clearly one of Cronenberg's best. Certainly better than Shivers, Scanners, and The Brood.
Oh, the plot? It's about a girl who gets in a motorcycle accident with her boyfriend on a semi-deserted/isolated country road. He gets a muscle sprain, she is horribly injured and will die if they don't get her to a hospital. But the only thing close enough to operate before she dies is an experimental Plastic Surgery facility where they decide to try a completely new form of therapy called "skin grafting." Well, whatever they do to her, causes her to mutate. She gets a new organ in her body, like a sort of reverse-penis / Vampire's Tooth, underneath her armpit, which she attaches to peoples' bodies and sucks them of their blood. This turns them into what she is (only without the VTooth/sucker organ), and the area of Canada where she lives goes into Martial Law, where anyone on the street could be infected.
What's it like? I thought it was excellent, quality wise. The reason why is hard to explain. But it just... is.

^^^^I agree 100% Laz. Rabid is my 2nd favorite Cronenberg flick right behind 'Videodrome.'
