It seems that my mentor,Glenn Beck, is now also taking shots at GTA. Strike 1, Glenn!

I kind of like Glenn Beck. He's a less radical conservative type. But he's still playing for the wrong team. And even if I agreed with him on the disinterest for 2007's Oscar nominated films, he doesn't need to make it a political issue.

I am a big fan of his.He was quite a piss-tank in the past but has since found God. I like his views about the border-patrol,terrorism,global warming, etc.

I am so sick and tired of people saying they've "found God." Where did he find him? Under the bed? On the roof? In the closet? In his car? At work?

I don't like how it seems that most people find religion after they've hit rock bottom. Why no interest before?

For most people, Piggsy, yeah it is. I don't like how it seems that most people find religion after they've hit rock bottom. Why no interest before? That's my proof positive that what we think we know about God is just a myth created by man.

God, my friend, is a myth created by man. More and more people are beginning to realize it.

But we'll let the "believers" come to this realization in their own time. If we try to force them or harass them into not believing, or feeling shame for their crazy beliefs, we're no better than they are.

I can live and let live when it comes to religion. I even respect, and admire some religious folks. The Buddhists, Quakers, and even the more traditional Baptists like my great-grand parents were, come to mind. If I were capable of taking belief in gods, and the supernatural seriously, I'd become a Quaker, because they are about as nice and decent as humans come.
When it comes to these creationist, gay-bashing, sexist, racist, neo-con fuckers though...they're fair game. If they don't want me to ridicule them, and their beliefs they should keep that shit to themselves.

I agree with that, lowkey. I have no problem with religious people, as long as they keep their beliefs to themselves.

That is exactly my point! Christians know their faith is a lie, so they have to scare people into believing with their gruesome depictions of Hell. It's one big, global scam!

well i dont think there is a hell where a devil sits on a chair holding a pitchfork around fire
but whereever we go when we die i would like to believe that the murderers and rapists go somewhere else

Well... some murderers and rapists are not bad people. They're just driven insane, live in a bad environment, and are conditioned to do bad things by the people who raise them, poverty, and other factors.

T... you can't win an argument by telling me I'm wrong (and since you have never proven me wrong, I know you're dying to do it just once).
How about some actual facts? I'm listening...

I agree that some rapists and murderers are not bad people. I sympathize with some of them, really. Some of them may be feeling more pain than the victims and their families.
Obviously, some criminals are impossible to feel sorry for.
